So much of the Christian faith is based on the Bible. But is it reliable? Can we trust the Bible? Does a series of documents that were all written over two thousand years ago stand up under modern scientific scrutiny? John had remarked that there just wouldn't be enough books to fill all of Jesus's miracles. The fact is - there is an incredible amount of evidence for Christianity seen through archaeology, prophecy,bible codes, and miracles in our day in Jesus's name (Just to mention a few). It fantastic to come across men that are at the top of their fields where their opinion is valued by thousands. Their extensive studies conclude that There is A God. It is common for the people to have the question "who wrote the bible" It is likely a question you will get if you are a Christian. Not only do all the writers over hundreds of years tell of the same story, (yet they were all different writers) but we have found bible codes through out the bible. No other "religion" has prophecies like the bible, and certainly no other book has thousands of codes under the text like the bible has. It is simply amazing to see all the proof the bible has when you investigate it! 
Is it possible that a Hebrew gospel of Matthew once existed? Could it actually be true that the first gospel written was composed in the Hebrew language? At one time scholars would have laughed at such an idea. But they aren't laughing now. Some recent discoveries have stunned the scholarly world and are radically changing what people believe about the origins of the gospel of Matthew. Traditionally, the universities of the western world have taught that the Gospel of Matthew was not the first gospel written, that it was written originally in Greek, and that it was composed after 70 A.D. However, as new discoveries have been made, those assumptions have been shown to be stone cold wrong. 
When were the books of the New Testament considered to be Scripture by the early church? You know, the truth is that most Christians have not even considered this question. Most Christians don't even think about it. Even though there has been a relentless assault on the Bible in movies, television, books and on the Internet, most Christians still stick their heads in the sand and won't even think about where the Bible originally came from. Rather than being able to defend the Bible, we have noticed that most believers in Christ have NO IDEA where the Bible came from. In particular, we have noticed that there is substantial confusion even among Christian leaders regarding the development of the New Testament. Even most pastors have fallen for the misconception that a bunch of people sat around a big table during some grand "council" (such as the Council of Nicaea) called by Rome and picked out which books would go into the New Testament. Hopefully after enough people read this article this question will be settled once and for all.
