Why God? Here’s why:

The more seriously you take the Word, the more seriously you take your faith in Christ, the more you will be hunted by these evil people! They are serpent seed, and they hate you because their father the Devil hates you, and thusly they are compelled by him to persecute you! Yes sir! Persecution is coming!

But, you’re right. We aren’t to respond to the hatred of the serpent seed with hatred, but with love; or at the least with silence, even nothing at all, if we have nothing positive to say to them! Like Christ Himself, who didn’t answer for Himself to Herod, as He had nothing positive to say to him! Amen, and amen.

Now, as for the fact that many of the serpent seed as religious; you just go right back in the Word and read what John the baptist said to these religious devils when they came to him in that age.

“But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” – Matthew 3:7

That term is used in four places in the gospels! And a viper is a serpent! See? The seed of the serpent, the children of the Devil, the sons of disobedience! Very religious, and yet, they worked to kill Christ! Their father the Devil is the one who inspired them to do that!

He still does today! The only difference is that today they are going after Christ the bride, instead of Christ the bridegroom, as they are not able to attack Him; but, they can still attack us who are His while we are here!

Yes sir! Persecution is coming!
Then is coming the catching away!

Not sure who the author of this article is, but I’d like to address an error in an otherwise good piece. While you are on track to correct Schaeffer’s erroneous association with a nut-case like Von Brunn with Christianity, you might want to check your political ideologies. We should not think of this as a political war between left-leaning, liberal atheists (most of whom are Democrats) and right-leaning, conservative Judeo-Christian thinkers (many being Rebublicans). Our founding fathers, most of whom were Christians, thought of themselves neither as “left” or “right,” liberal nor conservative. It was a case for limited government (a Republic, vs a Democracy) which championed the supremacy of individual rights vs collective power. This is a whole different conversation and entirely sidesteps the left vs right argument.

There has been some talk that the actual article was not as biased. I want to say, either way, it should not shock Christian’s that in the ‘end-times’, everything will be turned around. Good will be ‘labeled’ evil and evil will be ‘labeled’ good. In these ‘end-times’ Christian’s will be forced into being martyrs for Christ or to be worthless traitors! Times will be tough however, we have been promised assistance in many forms including angelic. Do not allow anyone to turn your focus off Christ and His freely given forgiveness and reward of eternal paradise with Him in His kingdom! Persecutions are indeed coming. Do not be surprised when they do appear. They will be ‘bold-faced’ persecutions and everyone will see it that way. Whether this article is pointing out the beginning of the persecutions or not, doesn’t matter. They are coming and they will be ‘bold-faced’ and plain to see. Pray now that the Holy Spirit begins to build up your faith and weakens your unbelief so that in the time of trial, you will stand firm and will be honored to be persecuted for your reward will be great in Jesus’ never ending kingdom in heaven. We Christian’s understand that this ‘valley of tears’ is not our home! Heaven with Jesus’ and His never ending Kingdom in paradise is our eternal home! I for one pray that we all be taken there as soon as possible, however, not my will but His will be done! Be ready and prepared for the times are turning and the days of persecution are near. Stand firm for those who can’t seem to be able to. Pray and you will be given the strength to endure your time of honor! God bless! Come Lord Jesus come!

A couple of things you may want to look into: Frank Shaffer is not an atheist, he is an Orhtodox Christian, that believes that evangelical Christians are heretical and not truly following the real Jesus Christ and especially His church.

The political problems are not about right and left, per your comparison with the left and the Nazis. The right and left are simply made to look like they oppose each other to give hope to the common person that is unsuspecting about who is really in power.

It is obvious that our country is headed towards Marxism, socialism and even fascism. In that, Christians…as well as many others, will probably suffer. But who will be suffering for the wrong reasons? What does God really want us to do?

The question is, what can we really do about it besides pray? I suppose if God told us to do something specific about it, that might help, but what else is working?

I never doubted the fact that Hitler was far left not far right.

I don’t like to think of myself as pro-life as much as against the murder of innocent children. I am pro-choice in this way you have the right to chose abstinance or birth control. You do not have the right to use abortion as a form of birth control.

All the anti Christian stuff makes me sick. Do we tell them they have to believe what we do and try to force them to accept our religion like they do to us?

We live in scary world and if you truly the believe the Bible you know it’s only going to get worse.

Just remember that God never told us to be doormats. I firmly believe in the right to fight for your loved ones and not be lead mindlessly to the slaughter. I won’t go quitely. If they want my gun they may just get it.

Hello, may I cite your site as reference in my blog?
I’m creating one to alert people in my country of the last days, the rapture, comming days of antichrist and everything else. All the prophecies we’re having the privilege to see happening before our eyes.
Why not just point out your site? Because I live in a portuguese speaking country; most of the people don’t know english very well and also, the majority of good sources of information, including you guys, are in Enlgish.
