You want to know why? Well, regardless of your answer, you are going to hear it. A 12 year old is at the pre-pubecent age where juuuust before he starts to become a man, he shed all of his childhood superstitions and fears. A good example, giving power to things that aren't real, or aren't alive, like cartoon characters, or masks, or symbols. He stops fearing the monster in his closet, and starts to sleep with the light off. In other words, he grows up. Now judging by what I have read here, whoever wrote this hasn't grown up yet. He/She is still that scared little child sleeping with the light on and having his mommy (or in this case Jesus) check underneath the bed to make sure the coast is clear. You are basically saying that a piece of carved wood, or a symbol, or a cartoon character flickering across your TV screen has it out for your soul, so you should run away before they get you. I find most religions interesting pieces of imagination and manipulation, but this webpage is nothing but pure fear to what is different, and intolerance, absolute intolerance. I have heard that the Smurfs are demonic because the main Smurfs represent the capital sins, and father Smurf is actually the devil, Gargamel wears priest's robes, and his cat Azrael (the name of a demon) is a actually demon, and his ears are the horns... but then again horns are part of demons since the barbarians used to wear them in their helmets to hunt Christians... not surprisingly the latter used to take different images of other religions and turned them into demons, such as the dragon. But enough of the lecture, I came to say that I believe in God, and I also believe in Jesus, and since Jesus is called the Christ I must be somehow a Christian, but the "Christian" who wrote this webpage is an intolerant one, so I must ask you to not let him fool you, and furthermore, do not believe that all Christians are like him/her.
