Sunday October 2nd, marks the beginning of the feast of trumpets for 2016.
So many millions of believers in Jesus Christ are starting to observe the feasts and festivals because they have remarkable prophetic significance.
On this holiday of Trumpets, shofars are blown to announce the holiday of Rosh Hashanah. Biblical Christians refer to it as the Feast of Trumpets. Moses declared and prophesied that it would become a “memorial of blowing of trumpets” (Lev. 23:24,25) ‘Rosh Hashanah’ means ‘head of the year’.
The Feast of Trumpets is the first of the three, yet to be fulfilled, Fall Feasts of Israel.
These fall time Feasts relate to Yeshua Jesus’s second coming, where as the spring feasts were fulfilled in His first coming 2,000 years ago.
Back then we saw Yeshua Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a donkey as the ‘Suffering Servant’. But when Messiah returns this next time He will come as the Conquering King.
The Feast of trumpets describe the catching away or “rapture” event where the final trumpet is blown and we fill find ourselves caught up into the clouds, and partake in the beautiful, awesome ceremony of the wedding supper of the lamb. This wedding event takes place during the “Ten days of awe” where the final judgements are let loose on the world. These 10 days will be the most terrifying times the world ever witnesses.
We return on Yom Kippur which is otherwise known as the Day of Atonement. On this very sobering day of reckoning, we return to take part in the battle of Armageddon with our Messiah Yeshua.
I would encourage you to participate in observing these feast days this fall, as on a future Rosh Hoshanah, the shofars will begin to sound on a day like no other. God’s people be “called out” and up into the heavens. Gosh, what a powerful, exciting day to celebrate. Many refer to these festivals as “dress rehearsals” for the actual event in the future.
This celebration is yours…
It belongs to you too!
