“I’m working very, very hard on trying to finally create peace between the Palestinians and Israel,” Trump said during a joint news conference with Abdullah on Wednesday. “The king has been a really tireless advocate for a solution. He’s going to help me with that — and help me at the highest level. We will be consulting with him very closely in the days ahead.”

Abdullah endorses the Saudi-proposed Arab Peace Initiative, which calls for a two-state solution with east Jerusalem as a Palestinian capital in exchange for normalized ties with the Arab world.

“You will find a strong ally in Jordan supporting you on all your policies,” he reassured the American president, pledging his support. “Your message to all of us is a message of hope.”

  1. Interesting that Jordan is being drawn into the “peace” process. The west part of Jordan is spoken of in the bible to not be under the Antichrists power.
