When I returned to my shop in New Jersey, I regularly kept my old Bible on my sales counter, perhaps as a good luck charm. Every now and then I browsed through it, mindful of my teacher’s command. One bright day a tall young man came into the store. His sparkling eyes had a tender look. His soft, yet determined features were emphasized by a mustache, and his manner of talking was slow and measured. His name was Jeff. When he saw the Hebrew Bible lying on my counter, his eyes suddenly lit up. Addressing me in Hebrew, he asked, “You believe in Yeshua (Jesus), don’t you?”

“Of course I believe in Yehoshua (Joshua)!” I replied, totally misunderstanding him.

“Oh, no! I don’t mean Yehoshua Ben Nun (Joshua, son of Nun),” he said with a smile. “No, I am talking a bout Yeshua, the one who is called ‘Yeshu’(derogatory Hebrew slang for Jesus) by those who do not know Him.”

“Why Yeshu?!” I responded with a mixture of perplexity, fury, and indignation. “Are you Jewish? And if you are, what is he to you? We Jews do not believe in Yeshu! We believe in God and in God alone.”

“No, I am not Jewish,” answered Jeff, “but during the Yom Kippur War I spent some time in Israel as a volunteer bus driver. Before that, I worked in Israel as a volunteer in several kibbutzim, and even managed to learn some Hebrew. I love the people of Israel with all my heart, and I firmly believe that God loves them, too.”

Rather rudely, I interjected, “Wait a minute! Do you really mean to tell me that you are not a Jew?”

“No, unfortunately I am not Jewish,” Jeff admitted honestly, “but I do love the Jews, because of Yeshua.”

Now it was my turn to raise an eyebrow. “I’ve never heard of a Gentile who loves the Jews! And what does Yeshu have to do with all that?”

Jeff did not keep me waiting for an answer. “It’s because Yeshua is the Son of God and the Messiah of Israel.” He made this statement with that bold assurance of a firm believer who takes his faith seriously. He probably did not consider the possibility that there might be people who thought otherwise.

“The Son of God?!” I was enraged again. “Since when does God have a Son?

“Oh, I’ve got some news to tell you!” Jeff smiled. “God not only has a Son, but this Son is a perfect Jew, a Jewish King, born of the House of David!”

Then, changing the subject suddenly, he asked, “Have you ever read the Brit Hadashah (the New Testament)?”

“Oh, no! God forbid!” I was really terrified now. “We Jews are forbidden even to hold that book in our hands! It’s a Gentile book, and we must not defile our hands with it.”

“It’s too bad that you condemn a book that you have never even seen.”

Jeff changed to English. “How can you have such a fixed idea regarding something that you do not know anything about? Look, when a person is taken to court, the judge must be totally impartial and unbiased in order to weigh objectively all the allegations brought before him, both from the prosecution and the defense. The judge must not bring his own personal inclinations into consideration. He must judge honestly and righteously. How can you issue such a terrible verdict on Yeshua and on the New Covenant, when you do not have even the faintest idea about them? Don’t you realize that you allow your prejudices, or worse yet, the prejudice of other people, to fix your opinion an d to cause you to pass judgment without examining the facts first?”

What Is Gossip?

Gossip accuses people.  It labels someone "bad", "stupid" "of low character" or anything else that is condemning.  It charges others with "wrong" with an opinion.  Gossip slanders others.  Gossip destroys a person's character or personal reputation.  Gossip is always done behind a person's back.

5 Things About Gossip

1. Gossip often doesn't quote word for word.   People recall the events in their mind, which may add to, subtract, or remember what they choose to remember.  They say just anything that comes into their minds about the situation whether it is accurate or not.

2.  Gossip never grasps the entire story.  Does the gossiper know ALL of the life decisions or surrounding facts about the person they are talking about?  Of course not.  They see what they want to see.  They tell what they want to tell, they tell what LITTLE is told to them.  Gossip is always half truths.

2.  "Oh, let me tell you how much worse that other person is than ME!" The gossip never thinks of themselves as being lowly, otherwise they wouldn't be seeking to defame another. People of low self-esteem tend to gossip. Gossip allows their own egos to rise up, making themselves feel good on the misfortunes of others.  The pattern goes on an on, they yearn to gossip, because it makes them feel so much better about themselves.

3. People That Have Nothing To Do TALK...... People who are idle with their hands (don't have a job, don't go to school, don't have hobbies, don't have much to do with their time) tend to be active with their tongues. Paul comments in I Timothy 5:13: "And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not"

4.  An opinion is JUST an Opinion.  Opinions aren't law, and they certainly are not Gods law.  There are dozens if not hundreds of ways to cook chicken, who says which method is supreme?  Get the idea?  (Don't confuse something in scripture we are told NOT to do, in that case we rebuke, or edify each other based on Gods written word) After all your way is the best right?  Not even close.

Are these judgements really worth getting out of fellowship with God over?  Guard your relationship with God, and choose not even to entertain judgement.

To avoid judgment, get up immediately and start doing something different.  Or say out loud...  "it is not of my concern, God forgive me, I forgive them"

5. Proverbs 20:19 Gossip betrays confidence, and we are told by the word that we are to avoid anyone who talks too much.  Why does gossip betray confidence?  We all know a friend or two who likes to blabber on and on and on.  A person WHO TALKS ALOT, also talks about you. 

These people who talk endlessly cannot overcome the temptation to keep some things private.  They can never keep something told in confidence, to themselves.  They just cannot do it!  They aren't educated to talk about politics, world studies, or anything of great intellect, so they talk about others for entertainment.

Reasons To Start Editing What You Say To These People:

A.  You find that what you said to this "endless talker" now becomes the understanding of another friend, and it comes up in conversation to you after it has come around full circle!

B.  "Endless talkers" take your private disputes with family, friends, and involve others.  After "opinions" are exchanged, the minor problem now becomes a big deal with your circle of friends.  You soon realize that NOW everyone holds the same "opinion" as the "Endless Talker" on your choices or lifestyle.

C.  You find your ""endless talking friend" telling you "secrets" of the same person two or three times.  They don't realize they have told you this secret three times already!!!  This person truly cannot keep anything to themselves!

D.  You take steps to avoid what you tell this "endless talker" such as any true private details, but they find other areas of your life to talk about.  They disagree on everything from your food choices, to how you keep your house, to how you raise your children.  Nothing is off limits to them!!  This "endless talker"  keeps adding unnecessary drama into your life.

James 4:11 tells us: "Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge".  Gossiping is bearing false witness, and that brings the death penalty, we are told in Romans 6:23.

Realize that our Fathers laws never were done away with, as we are told by Yeshua in Matthew 5:17-19.  Therefore, gossip is serious business.  Yeshua died for our sins... do we then slap him in the face over and over again?  OH MY!!  Now you get the picture here.  Never ever would we treat our Messiah that way, so why would we put him back on the cross by NOWINGLY participating in this sin?  Ponder that for a moment, and let it sink in!

How You Can Turn Your Life AWAY From Gossip

I.  Realize This Isn't Godly:-Not only should you repent of gossiping, you should stop listening to gossip.  Realize this action alone will create seperation between your fellowship with our Father, for he HATES it!  Start making the decision today to get this RIGHT in your life.  Make the decision that this is important to get right in your life.

II. Entertaining Conversations Are Just As Bad- Listening to gossip makes you an accomplice and in our Fathers eyes, it is just as bad as the person selling the gossip.  First of all, realize that you are guilty here, and turn away from this starting TODAY!  We all have fallen short here, we all have participated in some form of gossip and that makes us guilty, guilty, guilty.

Start coming up with a plan.....

What are you going to say when these things come up?

"it doesn't matter to me",

"I guess that is something they have to get right in their life... I wish the best for them"

"We all love XXX, there are so many things in my own life I need to get straightened out before I could even stand in judgement of XXX"

III. Edit Your Life-  A big part of who you become is who you choose to surround yourself with.  How long have you entertained this sin for? Be sick of it!  Start EDITING your life.  YOU decide who you let into your life, and who you refuse to let go. You decide WHO is on your facebook friends list, and what ideas you will entertain.   Surround yourself with people who make you push to become better for Christ, and start editing out those who cause you to stumble.

How To Be Friends With Someone Who Talks Too Much- Wiki HOW

Take a look at who is in your life right now. Do you have some friendships and acquaintances you know that you need to end, cut off, and let go?  You know you do, and who they are. DO IT. This was one of the hardest things to do, but also one of the best decisions you can ever made.

IIII.  Start Surrounding Yourself WITH Whom You Would Like to Become Like-  You don’t need to personally know all the great people you admire but there is other ways of their influence in your life.   Become friends with them on facebook, subscribe to their feed, read books, listen to podcasts, read blogs.  Think about some of the “great people” that you would like to meet, and turn off your TV and make time to discover them.

Is the world being sold a lie through the New Age "new thinking"? Are they really coming across new information?  Are we not are told in Ecclesiastes 1:9 "what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again;there is nothing new under the sun"....  The concepts promoted through the New Age are just regurgitations of the same material passed down through the centuries.

Eckhart Tolle,  author of "The New Earth" tells millions of listeners material that has been told over and over and over again......  What makes him so different than the hundreds of other self-improvement, and motivational speakers out there?  The difference is he is branding himself as "spiritual teacher".

Does he provide any answers to questions such as "Is there life after death?" Apparently not.

Oprah asked Tolle, where we go after death, and he stated to one person that he really didn't know because he had never died to experience (feel) it. Yet millions are following him, and he doesn't seem to have clear answers to life's most important questions.  To Oprah he stated that one either goes to join with souls or perhaps goes through other experiences to attain a higher level of consciousness.  Or perhaps goes.....?? 

Eckhart Tolle doesn't have the answers, yet points to HIM who is able to defy logic- Yeshua the Christ.  The foundation of Christianity is based on the person who has experienced death.  Yeshua Jesus died, rose again, and showed himself to more than 500 people, but Tolle, and Oprah dismiss the words of Yeshua, and go after their own conclusions with all things related to life and death.

Tolle finds himself baffled with WHY and HOW Yeshua could do these things, and offers up a mystery tale of how Yeshua was able to use his brain at a higher level than the rest of us.  Tolle, goes on to tell us that we are to life for today, because tomorrow there may be nothing-less.  Aren't we told to life our "best life now"  Why is that?  ..............because there is no heaven or hell waiting for us?

The Holy Scriptures tell the exact opposite.

Question:  Why Did Yeshua Jesus Have To Be Tortured ? Why Did He Willingly Die?

Isaiah 53:5-6 says, He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was laid upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

John 3:36 says: 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

John 14:16 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Nothing New Under The Sun ????

We have seen this way of thinking before...  From WHO?

Isaiah 14:12-15 “How you are fallen from heaven,O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit."

Words like "no sin" or "no hell" speak to many people who don't want to be told their ways lead them down the path of destruction. People throughout time have always embraced the notion of no accountability for sins. This kind of lie will lead all of its followers to hell (Romans 6:23 NIV). This desire is the very same desire for which Satan was thrown down from heaven and into the earth.

Are We Like Yahweh?  Not Even Close

If you haven't read the book of Job, I would encourage you to open to the 37th chapter and read to the end of the book.

In Chapter 38, God Speaks!  Here HE tells us HE is in charge, and HE is the one who creates order in the universe.

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.
5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?
6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
9 When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band;
10 When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;
11 When I said, ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’

12 “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place,
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
14 It takes on form like clay under a seal, And stands out like a garment.
15 From the wicked their light is withheld, And the upraised arm is broken.

Isaiah 46:9"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me"

No sin, No heaven, No hell, No God?

One can open the bible and read that SIN is mentioned over 500 times throughout the bible, the need to turn away from it, or the consequences for not doing so.

John Walvoord, in his contribution to the book Four Views on Hell says that when it comes to the doctrine of hell in the Bible, “Jesus himself defined this more specifically and in more instances than any New Testament prophet. All the references to gehenna, except James 3:6, are from the lips of Jesus Christ himself…” [Walvoord, “The Literal View” in William Crockett (ed.), Four Views on Hell (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1992), 19-20.]

If one were to ask at random, people outside Christianity, where they will go after death, almost unanimously, it's heaven.  Is there a Hell?

In a survey several years ago, the question was asked, and thousands of churches participated in the answers to one of the most perplexing questions - Is There A Hell?  This question rated below 50% in most of the mainline churches and this was among the ministers, which is very surprising.

Hell isn't a popular subject.  Most people don't even like to entertain the thought of looking into it.   Most people won't approach investigating the answers, for fear of what they might find. Yet why did Yeshua speek more on hell than on heaven ?  Why did He have very strong warnings to keep people He loved from going there?

How many times have you heard, "How can a loving God send people to hell?" or "I can't believe in a place of everlasting punishment."

People will believe what they WANT to believe, yet I ask you do YOU have solid proof FOR Your Beliefs?

Do Near Death Experiences Prove There Is An Afterlife?

According to a Gallup poll, approximately eight million Americans claim to have had a near-death experience.  Individual cases of NDEs in literature have been identified into ancient times.  Furthermore, up to 2005, 95% of world cultures have been documented making some mention of NDEs.

In this short blog, After Life Answers, digs into the proof found behind the Near Death Experiences.  Are NDE's just "miss-fires of the brain", or caused by drugs, or lack of oxygen....?  They say no....

Scientific Proof Of Near Death Experiences

After the review of thousands of near death experiences doctors such as Dr Bruce Greyson, Dr Peter Fenwick, Dr Parnia,and Dr Pim Van Lommel have determined that life after death does have serious scientific proof.

Dr Sam Parnia- from Southampton University, conducted a 3 year study in Sept 2008 which 25 hospitals examined 1,500 heart attack patients-survivors. Dr Parnia understood the debates surrounding NDE's and looked into possible stimulants that could invoke hallucinations such as lack of oxygen, drugs, as well as their religious backgrounds. Dr Parnia was extremely selective in his tests where he studies only people who suffered cardiac arrest,and who were clinically dead. Sam Parnia also concentrated on researching patients who could accurately describe the situation of the emergency room after being clinically dead. He tested their testimony with the nurses and doctors who attended to the person to verify the conversations and events.

Dr Peter Fenwick- is an accomplished doctor with over 240 papers in medical and scientific journals to his credit. In 1996, Dr. Fenwick a neuro psychiatrist to the Epilepsy Unit at the Maudsley Hospital, which he ran for twenty years, he is also chairman of the Scientific and Medical Network, a group of doctors and scientists seeking to deepen understanding in science and medicine. Dr Fenwick published a book on the subject of NDE, titled 'The Truth in the Light, which was a critical examination of over 300 cases selected from approximately 3000 that had been sent to him.

Dr Bruce Greyson- Dr Bruce Greyson- Professor of Psychiatry, studied 1,595 patients admitted to a cardiac care unit with heart trouble. Dr. Bruce Greyson is one of the leading academic researchers into Near Death Experiences. He is a psychiatric researcher and teacher at the University of Virginia Medical School.

Pim van Lommel-The findings of Pim van Lommel suggests that research subjects can experience consciousness, with self-identity, cognitive function and memories, including the possibility of perception outside their body during a flat EEG. Dr Pim van Lommel in Holland studied NDE in which patients did not have a heart  beat, breating, and loss of brain function. Dr Pim Van Lommel conducted a huge study, with 344 cardiac arrest survivors with in 2 days of their heart attack within 10 hospitals. Forty-one survivors reported NDEs, and it was found that NDEs was not influenced by the duration of either unconsciousness or cardiac arrest, or by medication. He also found that significant NDEs were reported in persons who were clinically dead.

Dr Melvin Morse- Dr Melvin Morse is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington. He has studied near-death experiences in children for over 15 years and suggests that memory could be stored outside the brain, that the right temporal lobe acts as a transmitter and receiver of the universal mind. Dr. Morse claims that there are many scientific facts that validate a higher power.

Dr Mario Beauregard, PhD discusses how mainstream science regards the study of consciousness, and the religious spiritual phenomenon are widely being ignored by the medical community.

Is this because heaven and hell could possibly be real?

Scriptures About Death

What do the scriptures say about death? Do we go into nothingness?  Here are a couple main points the scriptures tell us over and over. 

1) The body returns to the dust of the earth it came from.

2) The soul and spirit return to God in heaven, or rejection of Christ results in damnation.

3) Now absent from the body, we are present with the Lord.

4) We join the company of the “spirits of righteous men made perfect”.

Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 Remember him — before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the well, [7] and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

2 Corinthians 5:1, 6-8 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.... [6] Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.... [8] We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Philippians 1:22-24 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!  [23] I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; [24] but  it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.

Acts 7:55-59; 8:2 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.  [56] “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”  [57] At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, [58] dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.  [59]  While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” ... [8:2] Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him.

Revelation 6:9-11 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar [in heaven] the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.  [10] They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”  [11] Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

Luke 23:39-43 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!”  [40] But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?  [41] We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”  [42] Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”  [43] Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, Today you will be with me in paradise.”

Hebrews 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, [23] to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, [24] to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

In Rev. 14:10-11 . "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

Heb. 10:28-29: "Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? The law was to bring one to Christ to reject its testimony of showing ones sin is to reject Christ who died for the sin.

Luke 12:4-5: "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: fear him , who after he has killed, has power to cast into hell, yes, I say to you, fear Him!"

Matt. 11:23-24: "And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day." But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you." All these statements show that God will treat all in judgment with different degrees of punishment.

Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

No one wants to hear "Depart From Me" on the day of Judgement, so you can see how this scripture surrounds itself with lots of attention. 

Lets Start With What We Know To Be True: 

1.  We know that scripture cannot contradict scripture.  Why would God contradict himself?  With that in mind,  John 6:40 it tells us "........ this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” 

From this passage we can see clearly that salvation comes through belief, or in other words faith in Yeshua Jesus. 

To put your mind at rest, here are some additional scriptures that specifically address the topic of salvation, and how it is only through Christ, not of our own works:

• John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
• Rom. 3:22, "even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction."
• Rom. 3:24, "being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;"
• Rom. 3:26, "for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."
• Rom. 3:28-30, "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. ²⁹Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, ³⁰since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one."
• Rom. 4:3, "For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."
• Rom. 4:5, "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,"
• Rom. 4:11, "And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also,"
• Rom. 4:16, "Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all."

• Rom. 9:33, "just as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, And he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
• Rom. 10:4, "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."
• Rom. 10:9-10, "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;  ¹⁰for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
• Rom. 11:6, "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace."
• Gal. 2:16, "nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."
• Gal. 2:21, “I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
• Gal.3:5-6, "Does He then, who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? ⁶Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."
• Gal. 3:8, "And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "All the nations shall be blessed in you."
• Gal. 3:14, "in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
• Gal. 3:22, "But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe."
• Gal. 3:24, "Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith."
• Eph. 1:13, "In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise."
• Eph. 2:8, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."
• Phil. 3:9, "and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith."
• 1 Tim. 1:16, "And yet for this reason I found mercy, in order that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience, as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life."

In recent years, many believers in the Messianic movement (those who identify themselves different because they keep the commandments of God), point to part of the scripture that says "you who practice lawlessness"  They then proceed to understand that the scripture points to those believers and non-believers who don't keep the Torah are the ones that can lose their salvation.  This conclusion is incorrect on so many levels.

In this article "Jesus, Paul And All Of The Apostles Taught Obedience To The Law Of God" scripture clearly teaches that Yeshua himself said He did not come to do away with the law, but to further establish it. Jesus did not come to set up a new religion, but rather to build on the previous established covenant.  We see this in his speech on the Sermon on the Mount.  He proclaims in Matthew 5:17-19 that the law is not done away with, but should be kept.  Does that mean we are saved by the law?  No.

The law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20) and without those written points, our Christian family as a whole would be going off in different directions.  Reading through this section of Romans, Paul makes these points very very clear.  1. "For All have sinned and fallen short"  2. "Where is boasting then?  It is excluded.  By What Law?  No: But the law of faith"  3. "Do me make the law void through faith? God Forbid: ........ We establish the law"

It is very common in the messianic movement for believers to get prideful about keeping the law, but what they don't grasp is there is no way that we can keep the law perfectly.  In fact, our righteous acts are like dirty rags to our Father.  As much as we try to be perfect, we fall very far from that pedestal we set for ourselves.  Yeshua expands the Torah commandments when he talks about murder-this being that any man who hates his brother or sister has comitted murder in his heart.  In addition he goes on to say that we have comitted adultery when we look at one another with lust.  So it is no longer a sin when fall short in action, but rather we are deemed guilty when we first think of it.  So anyone WHO KNOWS to keep the laws, such as those in the messianic movements, and has any sort of pride of keeping the law,(being that he is better than another) needs to examine him or herself in a humble manner.  The fact is we all fall short, and have so much more to learn about the scriptures.

Recap:

We justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) apart from works of the Law (Rom. 3:28).  Do we keep the law? Yes (Matthew 5:17-19)  We keep the law, because it is our Fathers ways, and we live in our Fathers estate and are his children.  We aren't lawless, reckless children, even if we are grown and married.  There is a respect in the family of God for our Father, and his ways.

What many messianics don't realize, is the majority of Christians are already following most of what the Torah says already.  Yes, most are missing the knowledge of the feast and festivals, food laws, sabbath, land rests and so forth, but most of the commandments were repeated or summorized in the New Testament.  Lets face it, every believer never stops learning no matter what age they are at.

Back to Matthew 7:21-23

The key part of the scripture we need to pay attention to is ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

IF our Father doesn't know an individual through his son Yeshua Jesus, THEN what would he or she be judged upon?

The WHOLE word of God, right?

We know that any person who then isn't saved by Yeshua, is judged by the law, and would be deemed "lawless", because WE CANNOT keep the law perfectly to get into heaven.

There is NO other way into heaven except through Yeshua.

Is It Possible For The Occult To Use The Name Of Jesus?   

More than ever, the occult, and New Age movement is hung up on Jesus.  They have looked at the miracles of Jesus, and find themselves perplexed. 

How did he do it, they ask themselves. 

They look at Jesus, and realize he was truly a historical person with eye witness accounts.  

...... and they find themselves looking to him as a teacher.  

HOW did the miracles happen?     

A good example of this is the coined phrase "Christ Consciousness" or "Awaken Christ Consciousness".  We are hearing this from Edgar Cayce, Oprah Winfrey, and Eckhart Tolle

This New Age movement that is using the name of "Jesus" isn't at all the Yeshua Jesus we find in the scriptures.  The New Age movement points to Jesus, but then ignores, denies, or throws away all the commandments and teachings of Jesus.  They are excited about the miracles, and the power behind Yeshua Jesus, but when it comes making him Lord of their lives, they say "heck no!" 

So here we see an example of people who are using the name of Jesus in their books, their works, and teachings, but in essence, they deny him at the same time.

Let me ask you- Is someone saved who studies Jesus's life, but at the same time willfully rejects him as their savior?  The very thing Jesus commands?  They willfilly do not want to abide by what Jesus says?  The answer is no.

Read these below scriptures again with that mindset.

Is It Possible For The Occult To Heal In The Name Of Jesus?

Johanna Michaelsen's history is very interesting.  Today she is a born again Christian, who is an author and an activist of the Christian faith.  She began having paranormal experiences at the age of eleven.  In her twenties she grew so fascinated by psychic phenomena that she devoted herself to the occult, meditation, which lead her to an organization called Silva Mind Control.  She furthered her studies in acting focusing on mental telepathy as an interest.

In 1970 she apprenticed herself to a Christian psychic surgeon in Mexico, the famous Pachita.  This elderly woman was able to perform miraculous healings through her witchcraft.  Over a fourteenth-month period, Johanna assisted this woman in over 200 psychic surgeries and was chosen to take over for Pachita, after she passed on.  While she was in the occult she called upon Jesus Spirit Guides. You may ask yourself, How is that possible?  Ultimately over time, she came to understand that mystical experiences had actually been demonic counterfeits, and turned away from them to accept the true Jesus Christ.

In this instance, you may wonder why the name of Jesus was able to be used by the demonic.

We are told in the word that these "fallen spirits" are liars, destroyers, murderers, deceivers and seducers.

Many people who are impressed by the occult, get trapped by the sincerity of what the "other side" tells them.  In this post, we site a testimony of a boy who played the ouija board.  At first, it would tell him things that were true.  Over time, the spirits ended up taking over his voice, where he was shouting curse words without control.  At first, they may tell you what you want to hear.  One thing is for sure, they use and abuse you.  They could care less about your health, and well being.

In this instance, playing the ouija board, the demonic can tell you that you are talking to "Jesus", or a late grandmother, or any person that you admire.  Familiar spirits do know your ancestry, and your life enough to tell you what is pleasing to your ears.

The bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 ".... as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment"  So this means your late grandmother cannot come back to talk to you through a medium, or an ouija board.  We live once, and then die, and face eternity.

Let me say again, "fallen spirits" are liars, and have come to "......steal and kill and destroy" John 10:10.  They may tell you truth in some areas of your questioning, but in no means are bound to tell you the truth, even if you command them.

In fact, Yahweh instructs us that witchcraft, idolatry, seeking mediums, and anything to do with the occult are an abomination in his eyes.

The Israelites made the mistake and turned from God, although God clearly warned them about these practices in advance:

"When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so" (Deuteronomy 18:9-14).

How Are We To Discern What Is Good, and What is Evil?

1.  Turn away from the occult books, and read the bible.  Wouldn't you want to read a book that has proven itself to be supernatural in all ways?  Over 2000 prophecies are in the bible.  Layers of mathematics have been found under the surface text of the bible.  Ivan Panion compiled over 30 thousand pages of the of complex mathematics which he found in the pages of the bible.  Thousands of bible codes written about our time have been found in the original hebrew text of the bible.  This and many more instances make the bible the inspired word of God.  You can trust the bible.

2. Carefully Examine A Person's Doctrine.  Does it line up with the whole word of God?  If no, then move on.

This post starts you off with three of the most important points you can use to measure up a new teacher, church, or prophet or group.  If they are off in any of these areas, they are off in the most important parts of scripture.  There are many debateable topics, but these three are simply never to be messed with.

and self-control. Against such things there is no law".

What many may not know about Yoga, is it is an inherent part of the Hindu religion which teaches specific concepts, and deliberate acts which engage the person to become closer to the spirit of the Hindu faith.

In America we view Yoga as a fitness activity, something more enjoyable than running laps, push ups or weight training.  It is deemed as a "feel good" exercise which is trendy, youthful, sexy and provocative.  We see it promoted in almost every Hollywood movie as something that is "in-style"  More than ever we are seeing "Christian Yoga" promoted.  Is Yoga Christian?

Nine Out Of Ten Hindus agree "Yoga IS Hinduism" 

We are told, “Yoga is just exercise,” or “Yoga is a science. It is not religion.” But what do Hindus and true yogis say? TIME magazine featured a quote from Subhas Tiwari, a professor of yoga philosophy and meditation at the Hindu University of America in Orlando, Fla.:

“Yoga is Hinduism,” said Professor Tiwari of the Hindu University of America.  You may read the full article from the Sept. 5, 2005 issue at: “Stretching for Jesus” – TIME Magazine.

“Efforts to separate yoga from its spiritual center reveal ignorance of the goal of yoga." (HinduismToday.com – 9/1-3/09).

So in otherwords, to think that you can seperate the exercises of Yoga and what it was really designed for, you then are IGNORANT of the deep spiritual concepts of this act.

“The ‘Soul’ purpose of the asanas (yoga poses) is to create a healthy body, calm mind and emotions in order to enter the spirit realms." Swami Param tells Yoga cannot be separated from its religious elements - Coast News (March 2013)

Is there more to yoga than you have been taught?

Three Key Principles Taught By Yoga You Simply Cannot Escape:

Yoga has been marketed in the West as being a way of offering solutions for stress reduction, concentration problems, and issues of self confidence.  Is there anything more than that?

1. Postures- In an article "Should Christians Do Yoga" Laurette Willis admitted that “These are postures that are offered to the 330 million  Hindu gods. Yoga postures really are; they are offerings to the gods. "

“Many Westerners who practice yoga today are unaware that the physical positions assumed in yoga symbolize a spiritual act: worshiping one of the many Hindu gods,” Dr. Alexander said. “To a Hindu, yoga is the outward physical expression of a deep spiritual belief. You cannot separate one from the other.”George P. Alexander, Ph.D., who taught World Religions at Biola University

The opening of a Yoga class tells you everthing.......

Do you know what “Namaste” means?  This word is repeated by the group at the beginning of many Yoga sessions.  It means- “I bow to the divine in you.”

Guess who is “The Lord of Yoga”? This Hindu idol (god/demon) is only 1 of the 330 million Hindu gods.  This “Lord of Yoga” is also known as “Shiva, The Destroyer” and “The god of Death.”  Yoga is motivated by a spirit that inspires self-deification, with a promise of reincarnation.

Yoga Hinduism promotes Satan’s lie in the idea of reincarnation which says man passes through endless cycles of birth and death for eternal improvement. Hebrews 9:27 teaches, "it is appointed for men to die ONCE and after this comes judgment."

What did Satan say again?

“And the serpent said unto the woman, ‘You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4-5).

2.  Yoga teaches something they call pranayama breathing. Prana is the Hindu word for life force.  This same concept "chi" is taught in martial arts.  These concepts are taught to "yoke" or in other words "to become one" with the underpinning Hindu practices.

3.  Yoga teaches the concept of emptying  the mind, which is contradictory to what Christianity teaches. “We are transformed by the renewing of our minds”, not emptying it.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, would YOU want a devout Hindu, or a New Ager, or a person possessed by a spirit of divination to teach you?

Meditation is a spiritual discipline designed to open “sense organs” known as “chakras” (psychic centres) to allow intrusion by outside forces, understood in Hinduism to be “power”, “energy”, “healing”, “deities”, “divinity”, etc., to take over.

What about Psalm 1?

Psalms 1   "How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! ² But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night"

There is a difference between contemplating the scriptures, and emptying ones mind.  The one allows you complete control, and the other is the opposite.

Our Father wants us to  review, reflect, think and analyze.  Yoga teaches the process of repeating the same phrase or calling on a power or deity, over and over and over.  Repeating the same phrase over and over is not thinking, but rather going into a trance.

Classical yoga is intended to put one into an altered state of consciousness.  The chanting and the customary relaxation period at the end of a yoga session has an agenda.  "Before becoming a Christian, I remember numerous instances of “traveling outside my body” during yoga relaxation periods"- The Dangers of Yoga (and what about Tai Chi?)

It is widely known in the occult that these practices CALL the spirits to come into the body.  In the occult, they WANT to be possessed by spirits.  Yoga also guides people into astral travel, which is where people actually leave their bodies, a practice well known in the occult.

The Bible tells us that tapping into the source of "fallen angels" is dangerous.  We are told that these "fallen spirits" liars, destroyers, murderers, deceivers and seducers.  Is this the company you want to keep?

Again,....... if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, would YOU want a devout Hindu, or a New Ager, or a person possessed by a spirit of divination to teach you?

Engaging in chanting is an open invitation for the demonic spirits to have fellowship with you.  You are opening the door, and inviting them to come into your life.

The Wilderness Account - An Account Every Christian NEEDS To Contemplate

Many Christians I suppose will be furious reading this, because they have convinced themselves, these things are ok to participate in.  The points above should be warning bells, red flags and very obvious to all that Yoga is just as abominable as being a Christian and having your  tarot cards, or tea leaves read.  The two are the same.

Do you remember the testimony of Moses when he received the 10 commandments, only to come down off the mountain and find the children of God worshipping the Golden calf?

Ezekiel 20:8 tells us that Israelites did not "forsake the idols of Egypt" when they exited.  So when they made the golden calf or young bull, they made it as a symbol of the God of Israel.  The Israelites lived in     Egypt for 430 years, so they naturally picked up the Egyptian ways of worship.

One interesting point in Exodus 32 is where it says "Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord" (Ex 32:5) 

We see that the worship of the golden calf was not a conscious rejection of the Yahweh, but rather the children of Israel probably thought that they could give honor to the LORD through the golden calf.

I ASK YOU- What was Our Fathers response to them creating the golden statue they identified as "thy elohim, O Israel"?

Ex 32:7 -"And the Lord said to Moses, “Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves."

Ex 32:10  ¹⁰ Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.”

We read that He was Furious!!!  So angered that He was going to make a new start out of Moses.

I have noticed a connection with our Father greatly protecting his holidays known only to Him.  Read more about them in this straight-forward article.  Pay really close attention in the word when it comes to discussing "new moons, sabbaths, feast and feativals" in the bible.  It was just the other day when I came across Isaiah 1:13, and 14.  It is so clear that these people "honored Him with their lips, while their hearts were far away from him" Isa 29:13

Back to passage Isa 1:14- "Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates:they are a trouble unto Me;I am weary to bear them"  The Hebrew word for "weary" is "la'ah" which means disgusted, grieved and loathe.

So here we have an instance where the children BORROWED some of the Egyptian rituals and incorportated them into Yahwehs festivals.  We are told how to celebrate Yahweh's festivals, and they are rather simplistic.

What upset our Father to the point where HE was going to wipe them out and start with a fresh group of people to go into the promise land?

They borrowed elements of a pagan ritual, and made it apart of the celebration to Yahweh.

Let me ask you?

Is it Easter or Passover?

Is it Christmas, or Feast of Tabernackles"

Perhaps you have never come across this information before, so here is your chance to review it for the first time.

This is what the ALMIGHTY says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations ..........3 For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. 4 They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter."

Here we are told again TO SEPERATE ourselves from the pagan ways.  Yet, so many people bring a tree into their house, adorn it, and celebrate "Christmas", which in fact is a pagan holiday.

Maybe you are one of those Christians who say "BUT, BUT, BUT it doesn't matter, I am doing it for The Lord"

Then maybe you need to carefully review our Father's reaction to the children and the Golden Calf, for after all, they were doing it "For the Lord"

How old are the dinosaurs?  Are they millions of years old?  Are they billions of years old?  Could it be possible that they are only thousands of years old?  The truth is that various dating methods give wildly different results when dinosaur bones are tested.  So what are we to believe?  In particular, some very, very interesting results have come back when dinosaur bones have been tested using carbon-14 dating.  It turns out that according to carbon-14 dating, dinosaur bones are just thousands of years old - not millions or billions of years old.  If you have never heard about this before, then what you are about to read is really going to challenge you.  There is a reason why many scientists claim that carbon-14 dating should not be used to test really old specimens.  It is because carbon-14 dating shows that those specimens are far, far younger than they are "supposed" to be.

In June of 1990, Hugh Miller submitted two dinosaur bone fragments to the Department of Geosciences at the University in Tucson, Arizona for carbon-14 analysis. One fragment was from an unidentified dinosaur. The other was from an Allosaurus excavated by James Hall near Grand Junction, Colorado in 1989. Miller submitted the samples without disclosing the identity of the bones. (Had the scientists known the samples actually were from dinosaurs, they would not have bothered dating them, since it is assumed dinosaurs lived millions of years ago—outside the limits of radiocarbon dating.) Interestingly, the C-14 analysis indicated that the bones were from 10,000-16,000 years old—a far cry from their alleged 60-million-year-old age (see Dahmer, et al., 1990, pp. 371-374).

What is C-14 doing in coal, diamonds, and dinosaur fossils, if these objects are really many millions of years old? Richard Dawkins declared that C-14 dating “is useful for dating organic material on the archaeological/historical timescale where we are dealing in hundreds or a few thousands of years,” not millions of years (1986, p. 226, emp. added). Yet, “readily detectable amounts of carbon-14,” even in coal, diamonds, and various fossils, “have been the rule rather than the exception” in recent years (DeYoung, 2005, p. 49). Why?

Perhaps many of our scientists should not be parading their pet theories as "facts" until more evidence comes in.

Way too many numbskulls are running around proclaiming that they know exactly when the dinosaurs lived when they know no such thing.

Most people don't realize this, but there is such a mountain of evidence for the Christian faith that it would take more than a lifetime to learn it all. For example, did you know that the ancient Hebrew name for God actually contains the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ? In paleo-Hebrew (the kind of Hebrew used before the Babylonian captivity), not only did each word convey a meaning, but each letter was a "word picture" that conveyed a meaning as well. In fact, when you combine the meanings of all the letters in a particular word in paleo-Hebrew, it actually gives you a much clearer idea of what the word actually means.

For instance, the paleo-Hebrew word for father contains an Alef and a Bet. In paleo-Hebrew, an Alef looked like the head of an ox and it signified "ox, strength or first". In paleo-Hebrew, a Bet was a word picture that looked like a house.

So the paleo-Hebrew word for father actually meant "the strength of the house".

Nobody knows why God chose to give the Hebrew people a language that was so intricate, but once you start learning about these things it really is fascinating.

So what does the ancient Hebrew word for God mean once you break it down?

When it comes to doctrine, there are many, many things that churches can have legitimate differences of opinion about. However, there are three key areas of doctrine that no Christian church or organization must never, ever mess with. If you are involved in a church or an organization that is trying to change one of the things on the list below, than you need to get out of there immediately. Almost every “church” or organization that is considered a “cult” has tried to change one of the things listed below. If you are wondering why God is not moving powerfully in the church that you are involved in, the first thing you might want to check is to make certain that they aren’t trying to mess with the fundamental beliefs of the historic Christian faith. So exactly what are the three things that churches must never, ever mess with?….

1) Who God Is

All over the world, there are “Christian” organizations that are trying to change who “God” is. This generally manifests itself in one of two ways.

On the one hand, there are many “Christian” churches and organizations out there today that are teaching that all religions pray to the same “God”. They teach that the God of Christianity is the same God that Muslims, Hindus and people of all other faiths pray to. In fact, this idea is gaining a lot of traction out in society as a whole. Today, millions upon millions of people around the globe believe that all religions are different paths to the exact same God. This is a very dangerous lie.

On the other hand, there are a growing number of “Christian” churches and organizations that are attacking the Trinity. In particular, there seems to be a relentless assault these days on the deity of Christ. This is one of the major errors of groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons.

2) The Word Of God

No Christian “church” or organization should ever try to mess with the Word of God. And yet this is exactly what so many of them do.

The truth is that the Word of God is perfect the way that it is. It does not need anything added to it and it doesn’t need anything taken away from it. It is the inspired Word of the Living God.

This is another area where the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons make huge mistakes. They try to add an additional book to the Bible.

Other groups try to say that certain books in the Bible are not inspired or that they should not be in there at all. For example, a growing number of groups are now openly attacking the epistles of Paul.

Do not listen to them. The Apostle Peter himself declared Paul’s letters to be Scripture all the way back in the 1^st century while he was still alive (2 Peter 3:15-16).

If anyone tries to tell you that there is something wrong with the Bible or that something needs to be added to it, run out of there as fast as you can.

3) The Plan Of Salvation

This is probably the area where the most “Christian” churches and organizations get off track. The truth is that God made the plan of salvation very simple. It is faith in Jesus Christ plus nothing.

We can do nothing to earn our salvation. It is a free gift given to us by the grace of God. All we have to do is ask Him for it.

So don’t let anyone tell you that you have to be a member of a certain “church” to be saved, or that you have to be baptized in order to be saved, or that you need to be circumcised in order to be saved, or that you have to do a certain amount of good works to be saved, or that you have to go to purgatory first before you get to go to heaven, or that you have to observe certain commandments in the Bible before you can be saved.

The plan of salvation is very simple as Romans 10:9 tells us….

“If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

That doesn’t mean that we don’t try to obey God’s commandments.

Of course we do.

But our good works are evidence of our salvation - not how we receive our salvation.

So if anyone tries to tell you that you need to do anything “extra” besides having faith in Jesus to be saved, you know what to do.

Run out of there and don’t look back.

The more you look into the Bible the more absolutely amazing things that you find. For example, Numbers chapter 2 is normally a chapter that most Christians find tremendously "boring" and pass over without giving it much attention. However, the truth is that there is one thing that is truly amazing and prophetic about that chapter. In that chapter, God gives Moses instructions for how the people of Israel were to set up camp in the wilderness. So is there a reason why God had them arrange the camp in a very particular manner rather than just letting them set up camp however they wanted? Yes - and the amazing thing is that the way that God had them set up the camp was extremely prophetic.

You see, if you take Numbers chapter 2 and you diagram it, you quickly realize that God had the people of Israel set up their camps to form the sign of the cross! You can see this in the picture at the top of the article. The truth is that Yahshua (Jesus) is revealed on every page of the Torah if you are willing to look close enough.

Approximately 1500 years before the Messiah came, God foreshadowed the way that His Son would die in the way that He arranged the tribes of Israel to camp in the wilderness. How amazing is that?

And for those who have studied Bible prophecy, you know that there are things like this all throughout the Old Testament. There is no other religion that has anything like this. The God of the Bible told us what He was going to do centuries and centuries in advance and foreshadowed it in a multitude of different ways.

So do you still doubt that God is real? Well, keep coming back to this website, because there are so many more supernatural fingerprints in the Word of God that we will be going over.

The reality is that the Bible is different from any other book in the history of the world, and we pray that if your eyes have not been opened to that fact yet that they soon will be.

Today more than ever Christianity has been pushed out the windows of our classrooms, our courts and has been publicly insulted in the worlds entertainment.

We are told in the bible that in the end days more people will turn away from the faith, yet, today the bible is being proven correct as more scientific advancements validate the bible.

Every couple of months something new comes forth to validate the bible.

The late atheist Antony Flew had to admit "a God" existed because of the findings in astronomy advancements.   You will not need "blind faith" to believe in Christianity after you review the evidence for yourself, you will need blind faith to not believe.  The evidence for Christianity is unique vast as it is deep.

In fact, the very best evidence for Christianity has been found in prophecy.  No other religion has documented predictions that have 100% accuracy.  The bible has over 2,000 unique prophecies that prove the bible is God breathed and inspired.

My heart goes out to Flew's family today as their beloved family member has passed on. Today, I spent my day refining my "evidence for Christianity" pamphlet I often give away daily as evidence for Christianity. Instead of giving a Christian cartoon track, I have summarized the very best evidence in one sheet of paper back to back, (in size 10 font) because it is on my heart that people should know the very best evidence for Christ. Tonight, as my husband leaned over to show me an article in The Christian Post, that Antony Flew passed away, and I was shocked and rather sad, and a bit angry. I am a bit hurt that this man didn't acknowledge the evidence that he DID know. But worse off, he voiced his life time voyage out loud, leading many people to follow atheism. To think that this man didn't know all the evidence is rather silly, because he spent a life time mocking God, and went out of his way to prove God doesn't exist. In addition, not only did he know the evidence for Christ, but his father was a Methodist minister, and while studying for his undergraduate, Flew attended weekly meetings of C.S Lewis's Socratic Club. Flew found Lewis "by far the most powerful of Christian apologists for the sixty or more years following his founding of that club".

British philosopher, Dr. Antony Flew, has been one of the strongest advocates and spokespersons of atheism, arguing and debating pastors in front of enormous crowds that "one should presuppose atheism until evidence of a God surfaces"he would often say. In December 2004, the forerunner for the atheistic movement admitted, "Super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature."

So, what turned Antony Flew to reason that "A God" may exist? The answer for him was in the scientific advancements within Astronomy. The discoveries within the last 30 years brought him to a conclusion he could not publicly avoid, which he publicly admitted in his book "There is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind". Flew stated that "the most impressive arguments for God’s existence were those that are supported by recent scientific discoveries" and that "the argument to Intelligent Design is enormously stronger than it was when I first met it".

The Fine-Tuning of the Initial conditions by Hugh Ross, Astronomer, lists out 34 Life-Essential Elements in order for Life to Exist. This impressive list alone should show that life didn't happen by chance. Of course, this evidence is not specific for any God, and possibly the reason why Flew decided to run with that evidence in particular.

Atheists rarely remain Atheists or agnostics, moments before their death, because many admit inside to themselves there is just too much evidence that has surfaced to prove their is a GOD. 50 years ago, many of these champion Atheists could rock the boat with their language of Darwinism, (which still has no solid proof in archaeology), but today too many advancements have come out that, like Deist Flew had to admit.

Although Flew acknowledged "A God", he couldn't decide on which God he wanted to go with. Flew described Islam as "best described in a Marxian way as the uniting and justifying ideology of Arab imperialism." In a December 2004 interview he said: "I'm thinking of a God very different from the God of the Christian and far andaway from the God of Islam, because both are depicted as omnipotent Oriental despots, cosmic Saddam Husseins" He rejected the ideas of an afterlife, of God as the source of good, which he understood that God also created "a lot of" evil, which is obvious, he was confused.

Flew later told Christianity Today that even though he admitted there was "A God, he wasn't on the road to becoming a Christian. He reaffirmed his deism: "Since the beginning of my philosophical life I have followed the policy of Plato's Socrates: We must follow the argument wherever it leads."

Little children often ask the question, "Is there a God" "What happens after we die?"...........and it is a question a person often debates in their head (or avoids) for a lifetime if they do not have concrete answers for those questions.

Do you know the truth?

I have a sore spot for Atheists because my father still hasn't made a decision for Christ, and also my brothers haven't affirmed the direction they believe. I even have dear family members who just don't want to listen. Sadly, I have spoken to dozens of Atheists and presented astounding evidence that is extra ordinary, and sadly, it is their pride that gets in the way. If NO god exists, there shouldn't be an ounce of evidence that suggests there is a God. I do know the power of prayer, but the best thing about YHWH, is that he lets everyone decide for themselves. Our God never backs anyone in the corner and forces them to believe in him. He wants someone whole heartily loving him, than a pretend love which is insincere. Everyone must make this decision for themselves. To not choose him, is to choose an eternity without him.

Here is your opportunity to weigh the evidence for yourself. Are you a person who hasn't had the opportunity to really look at the evidence? Take 10 minutes and review the evidence so you know where you sit. If the evidence is overwhelming, then what the bible has to say applies to you. If you are not convinced, then go ahead and dismiss it.

Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius, Mary or Zoroaster. Muhammad or Maitreya didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great, nor did Joseph Smith raise the dead or heal the sick. There is far less reliable information written about these "Gods", yet they are followed by millions.

- There are 5 main feasts in the bible that for-shadow events or PROPHECIES that are to take place in the future. The celebration Passover is the exact representation of Jesus dying on the cross in detail even to the exact time of the slaughtering of the lamb, ( blood on the doorposts). Feast of Tabernacles was the perfect picture of Jesus's birth detailing the location and time. Many speculate that Feast of Trumpets will be where Jesus returns on the Mount of Olives. We are also told that we will be keeping the festivals when Jesus returns (Exe 45, Zech 14). Huge amounts of Christians (The Remnant Rev 12:17) are moving towards keeping the Sabbath, and festivals and move away from the pagan holidays such as XMAS, Halloween and Easter. We are told in the disciples kept Sabbath and the festivals in Acts 21&25 Matt 5,Rom 3, Rom 6:15 after Jesus resurrected. ***Keeping the Festivals/Sabbath and Jesus Testimony is the secret of where the blessings and protection come from.***

Here is the interesting part- Four Lunar Eclipses Happen between 2011-2020. Would it surprise you to know they all fall on Yahwehs festival dates? 1. Passover April 25, 1967, Feast of Tabernacles in October 19, 1967, October 18, 1967, Passover in April 13, 1968, Feast of Tabernacles in October 7, 1968, October 8, 1968. Four total lunar eclipses also happened before these listed above just after Israel became a nation in 1949/1950 as well. Passover April 14, 1949, April 13, 1949, Feast of Tabernacles on October 8, 1949, October 7, 1949, Passover, April 2, 1950,Feast of Tabernacles, September 26, 1950. The next previous time this happened again was in 1493/1494 just after the Jews were kicked out of Spain on the 9th of Av, 1492.Another astonishing research on Gods' Judgment by William R. Koenig from “Eye to Eye” sites the consequences of dividing Israel and the correlation of natural disasters. All of the most costliest catastrophes in history occurred or began on the very same day or within 24-hours of U.S. presidents Bush, Clinton and Bush applying pressure on Israel to divide the land.

3. The Bible Codes are astronomically profound. Thousands of modern groups of our time, events and people have been found in the scriptures under the text in code. (Exodus2006.com) In most of the messianic prophecies reveal the name of Jesus. (If only Jewish people would come across this evidence) One example -In Isaiah 52-53."He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" The code found was "Nazarene", along with 74 of the names, places, and events of the time of Jesus of Nazareth in that tiny verse. Another example, 26 Trees were encoded in Genesis 1:29 to Genesis 2:9. The interesting thing with the codes is (1) multiple of “like-words” are often found in the (2) same location and (3)correspond to the story being told in the readable text of the bible. All other major world religions, like Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, and Catholics teach that we must perfect ourselves in order to be saved. There is a question from a former Christian who is now considering other religions because Christianity is too constricting. Being entangled in the world can make Christian righteousness a far reach for many people if they are looking "for a bit of good". The problem for most people who turn to the bible is they cannot turn away at this worlds pleasures. They find them self torn because they want some of the world, but what the assurance of going to heaven as well. You cannot have both the cup of devils and of God. (1 Corinthians 10:21) You cannot go to nightclubs and enjoy feasting your eyes on beautiful women and go to church on Sunday. Many people are now turning towards doctrines that itch their ears, and tell them what they want to hear more than ever. Christians are turning to the prosperity gospel, and the false rapture theology and believe in the doctrines that hell doesn't exist. The end times church is approving of homosexuality, and sex before marriage, abortion and that other religions can lead people to heaven. It is sad to see Christians who turn from the truth and follow witchcraft. We give you three reasons to run hard from witchcraft below.

I've been a Christian for most of life, but now I find Christianity to be too restricting. I've been looking more towards spirituality than religion. I've been attemping to study Kabbalah,but I want to be open to other things.

I want to know more about Wicca, before I become a committed follower. I was mostly curious about the deities that are in Wicca. I tend to lean towards religions that are monotheistic.I wanted to know about the character of the deities and what the provide.

I also wanted to know the "commandments" of Wiccanism. Such as, are there physical places that are assigned as rewards or punishments in Wicca, such as Heaven and Hell in the Christian.

Oh, and also what role does tarot,numerology,astrology,dream interpretation,etc. play in Wicca.

Our Answer :

Being a Christian is knowing the truth. Let me explain why. Paganism, witchcraft, and vampirism is growing rapidly in every culture. Why? You may ask?

Simple, it is real* People get sucked into what Ouija boards and fortune tellers can say regarding their future. Often times, this is how it gets started. The bible has been tossed aside and thrown away in our culture.

Why?

Many people believe that "religion" is boring. To the most part, many Christians don't work in the gifts of the spirit, and the church itself HAS NOT grabbed a hold of the power Jesus does give us. Jesus said we will do more miracles than himself, yet the church doesn't see miracles. Many Christians are seeing the dead being raised, and people cured of cancer and aids, through the name of Jesus, but sadly the mainline church is more considered with the things of the world, that they don't see miracles. They cannot heal through prayer and fasting, and miracles don't happen for them, because their lives are not cleaned out.

In witchcraft, many people see a great deal of curses or spells happen, and they see it working immediately when they try it, so they get sucked in and involved. Children who follow Harry Potter are given the basic instructions on witchcraft in their books, and find out it works.  Today there is an explosion of tv shows that feature the paranormal realm, so it is no wonder there are so many people who flock towards it.

I want to give you three things to consider why you should run as fast as you can from these things.

1 - Demons Don't Respect The Boundaries God Has Set.

A) If you research men who have had encounters with angels, you will see that #1 they do not give their names, as they do not want to be worshipped. (This is how Satan fell)  If a person steps over any sinful boundaries among Gods angels they leave. For example - A righteous man following after God who is put into a situation of temptation of lust would remove himself from it immediately. Angels of God do the same but to a higher degree. They WILL NOT defile themselves as they are holy. Demonic angels are the opposite. Demonic angels will push the boundaries every single time, looking out for the worst interest in the individual for the very intention of taking them down to the pit of hell.

For Example - Case in Point- The 18 year old Boy who dabbled with the Ouija Board. The demons through the Ouija Board told him what he wanted to hear. They encouraged him and gave him powers over an approximate time he used the board (a year or so)  Eventually it (the demons) asked for control over his voice.   He soon couldn't control himself in public. He wasn't able to talk without speaking out swear words. Could you imagine being paralyzed in your own body. Getting help would mean pain? This is what happens when you get deeply involved in the occult.

You may think to yourself, I am not that deep, it couldn't happen to me.... Sadly, Satan is very smart and convincing. A friend of mine who cannot leave the snare of witchcraft cannot help getting her tea leaves read because she so desperately wants direction in her life. Who do you think is suggesting to her to get her tea leaves read? Satan will pull you right off the cliff as soon as you grab on to the rope the first time. Don't kid yourself.

The Bible says, "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

2. Why IS It By Using The Name Yeshua Jesus That Demons Can Be Cast Out?

One of the worst lies out there are these three day long exorcisms. Sadly you see these things by the catholic church which is NOT Christianity. No, holding a cross is not going to scare away a demonic presence. God (YHWH) it very simple for the person WHO WANTS to be free to be SET free EASILY. First it takes the will of the person to WANT to be set free. Simply by saying.... "IN JESUS NAME, I COMMAND all demonic presence, or demons to leave my body,....I don't want you here anymore, leave NOW! I pray to be filled with the holy spirit, Jesus come into my life"

Here is a question to ponder .............Why is it that DEMONS have to come under the authority of Jesus? Why is it that the name of other "Gods" (Buddha ect) don't work when casting out demons? It kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? Many be because there IS ONLY ONE True God.

Two powerful books I would highly suggest, that I have read personally are

A. Bill Schneobelen's Book -Blood on the Doorposts. He achieved the highest degrees in Witchcraft, Masonry, Mormonism, and drugs. Bill Schnoebelen explains how deep he was in the occult, and how he found his way out in Christ Jesus. He discusses how Jesus was the only way out, as he tried many other things to get free of demons that held him in bondage daily. Here is a man who studied and was deeply involved in the occult and how he DIDN"T Find it fun after time. You can find some of his info on You tube for free as well. His book is excellent.

B. Stripes, Nails, Thorns and The Blood By Bree Keyton. This book is a mini encyclopedia that lists the ranks of demons, and how to identify them. She shows a person how to break strongholds, and how to recognize demonic activity. She gives a person a step-by-step deliverance outline of how to be free of demonic activity and how to maintain your healing & deliverance. Her book is an accredited college course. Here is a woman that has been translated speaking to crowds in south America while driving down the road in America. God uses her around the Globe to do great things. She is showing the power of Christ that we all can have.

3. The Bible Says If You Practice in Witchcraft You Will Cursed and More Importantly Burn in Hell.

Deuteronomy 18:11-12 says that anyone engaged in these practices is "detestable to God."

The first thing you may say to yourself is ....."Well that point doesn't apply to me, because I don't believe in hell" Well, here again, it is NOT WHAT YOU BELIEVE, but what you can PROVE RIGHT?

If I were to say to someone, I think the world is flat, and that someone still shakes their head when someone tries to show me the evidence that it is round, they would honestly be very closed minded and the fool not to listen to the evidence.

This is what most people are like when it comes to the gospel. I can give someone (and will for you as well) a good 80 pages of point by point evidence that there is remarkable evidence for Jesus and Christianity. When it comes to other religions, most give the basic evidence such as "God can be seen in design" YET, for Christianity, there is very specific evidence that YWHW is the true and only God. So, are you going to be that same person who puts their fingers in their ears to the overwhelming evidence that the earth is round?

Hell exists, and thousands of people can testify to burning in hell as modern medicine has brought them back on the operating table.

You may say, as some use for the excuse - "it is just a cause of the brain miss-firing". No, in fact there is evidence that proves through many patient-cases when the brain is dead, and there is no heart breathing or breathing that people are claiming with accuracy events that took place after they have been clinically dead.

If you dabble with Witchcraft you will be cursed. Deuteronomy 28 lists the blessings or curses that "WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND OVERTAKE YOU". Do you want to curse your family line? DO you know of another book that has embedded Numeral Mathematics within the words, as well as THOUSANDS of Bible codes threaded within and throughout it? I would ask you, does The Koran have this? Does the Satanic Bible have this? Who is the true God?

There are 2,000 prophecies that discuss past events which have come to pass (proven correct), future prophecies and 300 prophecies (ALL proven correct and detailed) on the implications about the life, INCLUDING the death, and resurrection of Jesus. No other religion has specific, repeated, and unfailing fulfillment of predictions many years in advance of contingent events over which the predictor had no control.

Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius or Zoroaster. Muhammad didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great didn't raise the dead or heal the sick. And though there is far less reliable information written about these "religious" leaders, they are believed in and followed by millions.

- The Messiah would have had 456 identifying characteristics. Jesus had them all.
- Professor Emeritus of Science at Westmont College, Peter Stoner, has calculated the probability of one man fulfilling the major prophecies made concerning the Messiah. ONLY Christianity allows you to go to heaven just by a prayer. God makes it easy for you to have a relationship with him. Every other religion makes you jump hoops to get to heaven, while the bible says if you BELIEVE, and proclaim him, you can have eternal life this moment.

As tens of millions of children get dressed up for Halloween to get candy, and as millions of adults get dressed up in costumes ready to party the night away, little do they know that for over a thousand years Halloween has been celebrated by pagans, witches and Satanists as one of their most important holidays.  While many people (including many Christians) defend this holiday as a night of childlike fun, the reality is that there is more animal sacrifice and even more human sacrifice on this night than on any other.

For occultists, pagans and Satanists, Halloween night is the night when the veil between this world and the world beyond is the thinnest.  To them it is the best night to contact the dead, and by participating in the rituals of this holiday many of these people believe that they can tap into great power. This Satanic night is dedicated to the Celtic Lord of the Dead, also symbolized by the Horned-god and the Stag-god. Most commonly this holiday is known as Halloween today, but to the pagans this is the holiday of Samhain.  It is a very wicked holiday that is deeply rooted in ancient paganism. October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead, who in reality is Satan. There is nothing Christian about Halloween, as it is in fact an abomination to God and yet so many Christians participate in it.  The Bible says we cannot drink from the cup of the devil and that of God. We must choose one or the other.

Many people claim that Halloween is harmless fun, and that they do not worship the devil but take part only in the fun things of the holiday. Even if you are not "serious" about it, Satan is!

The truth is that you can be delivered out of the occult by the God of the universe.  He is stronger and more powerful than any entity of darkness.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and if you ask Him into your life He will forgive your sins and will give you eternal life.  If you would like to make that decision right now, the following is a suggested prayer for asking Jesus into your life:

"Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins.  I know without you I am destined for an eternity in hell.  Please come into my life and forgive my sins.  I ask you to take control over my life, and give you complete control over my life to change me into the person I was meant to become.  Open my eyes up to the life I am meant to live.  Please show your love to me.  Thank you Jesus."
