Most people don't realize this, but there is such a mountain of evidence for the Christian faith that it would take more than a lifetime to learn it all. For example, did you know that the ancient Hebrew name for God actually contains the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ? In paleo-Hebrew (the kind of Hebrew used before the Babylonian captivity), not only did each word convey a meaning, but each letter was a "word picture" that conveyed a meaning as well. In fact, when you combine the meanings of all the letters in a particular word in paleo-Hebrew, it actually gives you a much clearer idea of what the word actually means.

For instance, the paleo-Hebrew word for father contains an Alef and a Bet. In paleo-Hebrew, an Alef looked like the head of an ox and it signified "ox, strength or first". In paleo-Hebrew, a Bet was a word picture that looked like a house.

So the paleo-Hebrew word for father actually meant "the strength of the house".

Nobody knows why God chose to give the Hebrew people a language that was so intricate, but once you start learning about these things it really is fascinating.

So what does the ancient Hebrew word for God mean once you break it down?

Amazingly, as the video posted below demonstrates, it means the following....

From the very beginning, God "hid" the message of the gospel in plain sight in his own name!

Yes, it may be that some out-of-the-way places might be less affected. As the socialist insanity of the Nazis swept Europe, perhaps being a Luxembourgian or Andorran was better than being a Jew in Poland, but as Churchill noted, this relative safety is really nothing more than hoping the crocodile eats you last.  Fighting a crocodile no doubt is terrifying, and the felt reality is, as Frodo voiced to Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, when he realized he was now tasked with an all-but-impossible mission of taking his ring to Mordor, “I wish this need not have happened in my time.” Everyone who is called to great challenges, if they are sane, will feel the same way.  But of course, courage is precisely when one doesn’t feel like it, and has no meaning unless fear is a real possibility, just as faith has no meaning unless doubt is a real, actual possibility.  It is this choice between courage vs. fear, faith vs. doubt, action vs. inaction, that has now been arbitrarily placed on our doorstep, whether we wish it or not. Indeed, I wish this need not have happened in my time, either.

To help us not repeat the past, and to help us actively engage this inchoate evil, Erwin Lutzer, pastor of Moody Bible Church, and son of German immigrants, has noted seven historical lessons in his book, When a Nation Forgets God – 7 Lessons We Must Learn from Nazi Germany, that may assist the reflective conservative to take on the battle that has come unbidden to us, through the agencies of the “lamestream” media, a co-opted” educational system, liberal churches, and more.

First, we must realize the core of the battle is a spiritual one. Lutzer noted that humanists felt God “died” – through their efforts, which were not dissimilar to the efforts of their heirs today - in the 19th century. However, the result of this is that man died in the 20th century, for as Lutzer notes, “For when God is dead, man becomes an untamed beast.” Whether it is the 160 million people that various forms of leftism killed last century, to the present day shenanigans of the Enrons, the WorldComs, or the Bernie Madoffs of the world, as the Russian writer Dostoyevski noted, “if there is no God, everything is permissible.”  Thankfully, of course, we serve a risen Christ. This is not the first time impudence has thought it has “buried” God. Unfortunately for them, He never seems to stay put.

Christians would do well to review the courage of men like Martin Niemoller or Deitrich Bonhoeffer, as they faced the Nazis a half century or so ago. In general, Lutzer notes “Hitler belittled the courage of pastors, saying ‘You can do anything you want with them… They will submit… they are insignificant little people, as submissive as dogs, and they sweat with embarrassment when you talk to them.’” Rather, Lutzer notes “If every pastor would have been a Bonhoeffer or a Niemoller, Hitler could not have accomplished his agenda.” and then quotes Peter Marshall stating “It is better to fail in a cause that will ultimately succeed, than to succeed in a cause that will ultimately fail. Better to fail while serving God than to win while serving oneself.”  Bonhoeffer early on confronted Hitler – at one point Bonhoeffer, in a July 23, 1933 radio address warned that “when a people idolize a leader,’ then the image of the leader will gradually become the image of the ‘misleader.’ Thus, the leader makes an idol of himself and mocks God.”  One needn’t have too much of an imagination to see how this applies to today!  As the last sentences were being read by Bonhoeffer, the microphones were mysteriously switched off,  and Bonhoeffer was silenced for the time being. Of course , today, instead of turning the switches off, the radical left tries to turn off free speech by their Orwellian named “Fairness/localism doctrine” on the radio, co-opting the news, and now trying to control the internet.

The result of Christians abandoning the playing field was summarized by pastor Helmut Thielicke, as he spoke to a broken German nation in Stuttgart, April, 1945:: “Denying God and casting down the cross is never a merely private decision that concerns only my own inner life and my personal salvation, but this denial immediately brings the most brutal consequences for the whole of historical life and especially for our own people. God is not mocked. The history of the world can tell us terrible tales based upon that text.” The invisible transcends the visible in order and power, in our due allegiance and faith. Thielicke concluded that those who can’t see that socialist Germany “was wrecked precisely on this dangerous rock called ‘God,’ and nothing else has no eyes to see. Because he sees only individual catastrophes he no longer sees the basic, cardinal catastrophe behind them all.”

In sum, while preparedness it both vital and wise, we cannot, and must not, cease being salt in a dying culture.

The battle for America’s heart and soul, as was the case with 1930’s Germany, was not only fought in the political sphere, but also in the realm of education. Without a true education, emphasizing liberty with responsibility, is it any wonder we see crowds mindlessly chanting “Yes we can!” in our midst, or swallowing the deception of anthropogenic global warming, even after this was exposed as a fraud by ClimateGate, and even though science has clearly never been decided by “consensus,” but rather by hypothesis testing and experimentation? Regarding the state’s intrusion into the God-given role of parents, George Orwell’s 1984 writes of an even worse possibility, at one point imagining in his dystopia “It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children. And with good reason, for  hardly a week passed in which the Times did not carry a paragraph describing how some eavesdropping little sneak — ”child hero” was the phrase generally used — had overheard some compromising remark and had denounced his parents to the Thought Police.”  Is this extreme? One may well wonder after hearing Nancy Pelosi, third in line for the presidency, spouting off such lines as ““Every aspect of our lives must be subjected to an inventory... of how we are taking responsibility.”

Relative to education, the issue, as Lutzer implies in his book, is that the main battle may be lost before it is begun in the educational system, stating “… the same values that destroyed (Nazi) Germany are being taught in many of our centers of learning today.”  And what are those values? Lutzer notes the seven point leftist educational goal is to inculcate the falsehoods that: 1.) There is no right or wrong, only conditioned responses; 2.) The collective good is more important than the individual; 3.) Consensus is more important than principle; 4.) Flexibility is more important than accomplishment; 5.) Nothing is permanent except change; 6.) All ethics are situational; there are no moral absolutes; and 7.) There are no perpetrators.

The truth is that radical leftists require your children, almost as the ancient Amorites required children to sacrifice to Molech. Lutzer quotes Hitler as saying, ““This new Reich will give its youth to no one, but will itself take youth and give to youth its own education and its own upbringing,” and “German youth must no longer… be confronted with the choice of whether they wish to grow up  in a spirit of materialism or idealism, of racism or internationalism, of religious or godlessness, but they must be consciously shaped according to the principles which are recognized as correct… according to the principles of the ideology of National Socialism.”  Any private or church schools who disagreed were simply taxed or regulated into submission, with Lutzer writing, “Hitler knew that institutions he disliked could be shut down by multiplying laws and by requiring permits for any number of code requirements and procedural regulations. In the end, educational options for parents were squeezed out.”

How does this compare to the U.S.A today? For example, reported in December was that buried in some of Nancy Pelosi’s recent federal legislation, and supported by Michelle Obama, is a proposal for the Secretary of Agriculture to regulate even school fundraising bake sales!  Or, from another plane, Dr. Chester Pierce, Harvard University professor has stated, "Every child in America who enters school at the age of five is mentally ill, because he comes to school with an allegiance toward our elected officials, toward our founding fathers, toward our institutions, toward the preservation of this form of government that we have. Patriotism, nationalism, and sovereignty, all that proves that children are sick because a truly well individual is one who has rejected all of those things, and is truly the international child of the future."  Of course, no word from  Dr. Pierce how this squares with the Rousseauean “noble savage” concept of children leftists seem to hold so dear – one would assume Dr. Pierce wants children raised by the state from birth to avoid any polluting effects from their Neanderthal parents.

Tellingly, Lutzer cites Tammy Bruce, former president of L.A. Chapter of the National Organization for Women, who has undergone a complete change and now exposes the left’s agenda in the school system (in this case, via the radical homosexual lobby) by noting, “Today’s gay activists have carried the campaign a step further, invading children’s lives by wrapping themselves in the banner of tolerance. It is literally the equivalent of the wolf coming to your door dressed as your grandmother. The radicals in control of the gay establishment want children in their world of moral decay, lack of self-restraint, and moral relativism. Why? How better to truly belong to the majority (when you’re really on the fringe) than by taking possession of the next generation? By targeting children, you can start indoctrinating the next generation with the false construct that gay people deserve special treatment and special laws. Of course, the only way to get that accepted is to condition people into nihilism that forbids morality and judgment.”  The particular emphasis on sexualizing children, Bruce says, guarantees control of the culture for future generations, by promising “…sex-addicted future consumers on which the porn industry relies. By destroying those lives, they strike the final blow to family, faith, tradition, decency and judgment.”

Of course, universities were also not exempt from the Nazi clutches, with Lutzer writing Munich professors were told by Hitler “From now on it is not up to you to decide whether or not something is true, but whether it is in the interest of the National Socialist Revolution.”  The parallel today, of course, is the many well known stories of the activities of the campus speech and thought police. The irony of leftist Mario Savio protesting for free speech on the Student Union steps of UC Berkeley in the early 1960s is, of course, lost on the radical socialists.
While I hurt for every child victimized by the left, there is some silver lining in that children educated by the leftists, in general, cannot hold a candle to home or privately schooled children. Parents are aware of this, and voting with their feet and dollars in droves, by abandoning public schools, or at the university level, having children attend schools like Hillsdale College, which takes no federal funding, and thus can resist the grasp of the all-controlling nanny state.

The increasing bankruptcy of many “blue” states may also be an unexpected blessing in that funds for the leftists will dry up, as – by killing private business – the left is essentially urinating into the very financial well they necessarily have to drink out of. Finally, groups like the Alliance Defense Fund, or the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) are doing an excellent job in protecting freedom of thought and education (and deserve your support). For example, FIRE several years ago took up a case at Univ. of Delaware where 7,000 students in residence halls were required to undergo ideological re-education that the university itself called “treatment” for students’ incorrect attitudes and beliefs. Issues ranged from politics to race, sexuality to environmentalism. One can only imagine what children of Vietnamese or Cambodian refugees must feel like on campuses like these that mandate forced “re-education.”

There is cause for hope. But we must act now, and act firmly. For as the United Negro College Fund commercial used to say, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” And we must not let the left waste the minds of our young.

Today more than ever there is a great need for biblical discernment and discrimination in a world with ever changing views and philosophies that are gaining a foothold and told as truth. Many believers remain biblically illiterate and spiritually gullible to any passing thought or theory.  They naively accept any teaching as truth, rather than test to see if it lines up biblically.  "Conversations with God" is a series of books written by Neale Donald Walsch, in which Walsch asks questions and "God" answers. Walsch's "Conversations with God", first published in 1995, quickly landed on the New York Times Best-Sellers List and stayed there for 137 weeks.  Walsch tells in an interview with Larry King that the book was conceptualized when he wrote an angry letter to God asking questions about his life at a low period in his life. It was then when he heard a voice over his right shoulder say: "Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?" He turned around he saw no one there, but felt answers to his questions were filling his mind and decided to write them down. The dialogue he heard became the foundation for his series of books.

The Scholastic Book Club has picked up the series targeted for teens and children which are being sold to schools for children.   The titles sound harmless enough, but nothing could be further from the truth.  The glossy colorful covers which draw a person's curiosity by the thought of a true experience with God.  This book certainly makes and truth of the famous statement, "Don't judge a book by its cover or title."

Every good parent teaches his children to discriminate, to discern from what is right or wrong or evil.  I think we can all recall conversations with our parents about the danger of accepting rides or candy from strangers, but how many Christian parents teach their children how to discern spiritual matters.  There are many people in the world who will take advantage of the naiveté of our children.   If Satan has the opportunity to get a foothold in our children, he will rob them of their spiritual riches.

In the series, Walsch answers various questions asked by kids by using the "voice of God".   Walsch's "answers" are not Bible-based and go against the infallible word of God.  Homosexual issues rise in the book and the "voice of God" proposes that genetics are the cause of the problems, and rather to  "celebrate" their differences.  Another pressing subject that our society is dealing with is that of premarital sex, and living with one another before marriage.  As the biblical  convictions are eroding with each generation, the worldly viewpoint takes center stage in the schools, on tv and glorified in movies.  We often underestimate the power of a witness proclaiming the sinfulness of living with one another before marriage, which could change a persons mind, but that viewpoint has almost disappeared in our society such as a leaf on a windy day.  A question is proposed in the teens guide about living in sin over living with a girlfriend or boyfriend when Walsch's response is "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong."

God's forgiveness of sin also surfaces in the book, where his reply is "I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive... There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged."

In this day and age we are seeing a massive amount  of doctrines come forth from New Age religions which conveniently combine biblical verses and new age together to form a seeker friendly message.  Not only are "Conversations with God" series of books false doctrine of the devil, but in some instances quote (in error) the Word of God.  

The Christian who abides in Christ and walks in the Spirit loves truth and hates error.  The bible gives us a formula to test what is FROM YHWH and what is doctrines of The Devil. 

In 1 John 4:1-6 we are told how to TEST "the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

I would encourage anyone to review the series by Coy Wylie  which examines the command to test the spirits for an essential basis for judgement.  

In John, he speaks to believers and warns us not to "believe every spirit" but "test" them as to "whether they are of God." Why? Because there are "many false prophets" who have "gone out into the world."

We are told that as Christians we have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, but John also makes important mention that there are other "spirits" loose in the world and that we must "approve or examine." or put to test their purity.  Wylie says behind every prophet is a spirit, and the big question is " is this the Spirit of God or an evil spirit that has mislead this teacher"   Wylie says "I’ve been in some churches where they would "amen" almost anything."

It was not only John who warned us of False Doctrines.........

Paul warned the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:29, "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock."

Paul wrote in 1 Thess. 5:20-22, "Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good."

Jesus warned in Mt.7:15-16, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits…"

Peter also warned us in 2 Pet.2:1, "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction."

The FORMULA for Testing the Spirits

The formula is simple and revealing! 

1. Observe whether the person or group proclaims Jesus Christ as God (I Corinthians 12:3).   If they are off about Jesus, they are wrong about God. Paul states in 1 Cor.12:3, "No one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit."

One great example of this is Oprah Winfrey who has rigorously promoted A.W. Tozers book who WAS a  American Christian Pastor as Wikipedia proclaims but his SERIES of Books talk about Jesus, but not ABOUT the Jesus of the Bible.  On her tv show, Oprah denies that Jesus is God, and that all paths lead to God.  The talk can FOOL you to believe what they are saying COULD be truth, but it is far from it, and toxic!

2. Observe what a person or organization does. In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus explains that false prophets are known by their fruit - by their conduct and actions.

"Fruit of the Spirit" sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life. Galatians 5:22-23, these attributes are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. The fruit of the Spirit is one ninefold "fruit" that characterizes all who truly walk in the Holy Spirit.

3. By listening to the doctrine of the person or organization. (I John 4:1-3). Does their confession line up with the truth of God's Word?

Do the teachings about Jesus line up with the bible?  A great example of this is the Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Scientists, or The Church of Latter Days Saints which talk about Jesus, but their doctrine is extremely destructive and so far OFF from the scriptures.  

Today more than ever, we need to test doctrines and see if they line up with the word of God.  We also need to physically take a stand and guard our eyes and ears from the messages that can get planted into our spirits on television, in the movies, on the Internet, music and books that are available to us and our children who don't know better.

When it comes to doctrine, there are many, many things that churches can have legitimate differences of opinion about. However, there are three key areas of doctrine that no Christian church or organization must never, ever mess with. If you are involved in a church or an organization that is trying to change one of the things on the list below, than you need to get out of there immediately. Almost every “church” or organization that is considered a “cult” has tried to change one of the things listed below. If you are wondering why God is not moving powerfully in the church that you are involved in, the first thing you might want to check is to make certain that they aren’t trying to mess with the fundamental beliefs of the historic Christian faith. So exactly what are the three things that churches must never, ever mess with?….

1) Who God Is

All over the world, there are “Christian” organizations that are trying to change who “God” is. This generally manifests itself in one of two ways.

On the one hand, there are many “Christian” churches and organizations out there today that are teaching that all religions pray to the same “God”. They teach that the God of Christianity is the same God that Muslims, Hindus and people of all other faiths pray to. In fact, this idea is gaining a lot of traction out in society as a whole. Today, millions upon millions of people around the globe believe that all religions are different paths to the exact same God. This is a very dangerous lie.

On the other hand, there are a growing number of “Christian” churches and organizations that are attacking the Trinity. In particular, there seems to be a relentless assault these days on the deity of Christ. This is one of the major errors of groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons.

2) The Word Of God

No Christian “church” or organization should ever try to mess with the Word of God. And yet this is exactly what so many of them do.

The truth is that the Word of God is perfect the way that it is. It does not need anything added to it and it doesn’t need anything taken away from it. It is the inspired Word of the Living God.

This is another area where the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons make huge mistakes. They try to add an additional book to the Bible.

Other groups try to say that certain books in the Bible are not inspired or that they should not be in there at all. For example, a growing number of groups are now openly attacking the epistles of Paul.

Do not listen to them. The Apostle Peter himself declared Paul’s letters to be Scripture all the way back in the 1^st century while he was still alive (2 Peter 3:15-16).

If anyone tries to tell you that there is something wrong with the Bible or that something needs to be added to it, run out of there as fast as you can.

3) The Plan Of Salvation

This is probably the area where the most “Christian” churches and organizations get off track. The truth is that God made the plan of salvation very simple. It is faith in Jesus Christ plus nothing.

We can do nothing to earn our salvation. It is a free gift given to us by the grace of God. All we have to do is ask Him for it.

So don’t let anyone tell you that you have to be a member of a certain “church” to be saved, or that you have to be baptized in order to be saved, or that you need to be circumcised in order to be saved, or that you have to do a certain amount of good works to be saved, or that you have to go to purgatory first before you get to go to heaven, or that you have to observe certain commandments in the Bible before you can be saved.

The plan of salvation is very simple as Romans 10:9 tells us….

“If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

That doesn’t mean that we don’t try to obey God’s commandments.

Of course we do.

But our good works are evidence of our salvation - not how we receive our salvation.

So if anyone tries to tell you that you need to do anything “extra” besides having faith in Jesus to be saved, you know what to do.

Run out of there and don’t look back.

Yeshua's teachings that wrestled with the Pharisees are simply not understood by modern Christians; nor are his most important instructions followed by those who claim to be his disciples.  Nehemia Gordon dives into scripture most Christians often do not know about, and really sets a new perspective on scripture from the Hebrew text of the original manuscripts.

The bible has not got it's fair share of insults as other religions, it gets more than all of them combined.  In fact, I guarantee you that in the next movie you watch, the Lords name will be insulted by taking it in vein.  I ask you to recall the last time you remember Buddha, or Muhammadbeing mentioned in our modern movies as a swear word?   Today more than ever Christianity has been pushed out the windows of our classrooms, our courts and has been publicly insulted in the worlds entertainment.  We are told in the bible that in the end days more people will turn away from the faith, yet, today the bible is being proven correct as more scientific advancements validate the bible.  Every couple of months something new comes forth to validate the bible.  The late atheist Antony Flew had to admit "a God" existed because of the findings in astronomy advancements.   You will not need "blind faith" to believe in Christianity after you review the evidence for yourself, you will need blind faith to not believe.  The evidence for Christianity is unique vast as it is deep. Take 2 Minutes to Review A TWO page Evidence DOCUMENT FOR Yourself.  In fact, the very best evidence for Christianity has been found in prophecy.  No other religion has documented predictions that have 100% accuracy.  The bible has over 2,000 unique prophecies that prove the bible is God breathed and inspired.  It doesn't end there, there is vast evidence within archaeology, mathematics, and miracles to name just a few.  Take a look at the videos below to determine the odds that were calculated and then determined accurate by a committee of the famous American Scientific Affiliation.  Christianity is true, be sure to inform yourself of the latest evidence here. 

My heart goes out to Flew's family today as their beloved family member has passed on. Today, I spent my day refining my "evidence for Christianity" pamphlet I often give away daily as evidence for Christianity. Instead of giving a Christian cartoon track, I have summarized the very best evidence in one sheet of paper back to back, (in size 10 font) because it is on my heart that people should know the very best evidence for Christ. Tonight, as my husband leaned over to show me an article in The Christian Post, that Antony Flew passed away, and I was shocked and rather sad, and a bit angry. I am a bit hurt that this man didn't acknowledge the evidence that he DID know. But worse off, he voiced his life time voyage out loud, leading many people to follow atheism. To think that this man didn't know all the evidence is rather silly, because he spent a life time mocking God, and went out of his way to prove God doesn't exist. In addition, not only did he know the evidence for Christ, but his father was a Methodist minister, and while studying for his undergraduate, Flew attended weekly meetings of C.S Lewis's Socratic Club. Flew found Lewis "by far the most powerful of Christian apologists for the sixty or more years following his founding of that club".

British philosopher, Dr. Antony Flew, has been one of the strongest advocates and spokespersons of atheism, arguing and debating pastors in front of enormous crowds that "one should presuppose atheism until evidence of a God surfaces"he would often say. In December 2004, the forerunner for the atheistic movement admitted, "Super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature."

So, what turned Antony Flew to reason that "A God" may exist? The answer for him was in the scientific advancements within Astronomy. The discoveries within the last 30 years brought him to a conclusion he could not publicly avoid, which he publicly admitted in his book "There is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind". Flew stated that "the most impressive arguments for God’s existence were those that are supported by recent scientific discoveries" and that "the argument to Intelligent Design is enormously stronger than it was when I first met it".

The Fine-Tuning of the Initial conditions by Hugh Ross, Astronomer, lists out 34 Life-Essential Elements in order for Life to Exist. This impressive list alone should show that life didn't happen by chance. Of course, this evidence is not specific for any God, and possibly the reason why Flew decided to run with that evidence in particular.

Atheists rarely remain Atheists or agnostics, moments before their death, because many admit inside to themselves there is just too much evidence that has surfaced to prove their is a GOD. 50 years ago, many of these champion Atheists could rock the boat with their language of Darwinism, (which still has no solid proof in archaeology), but today too many advancements have come out that, like Deist Flew had to admit.

Although Flew acknowledged "A God", he couldn't decide on which God he wanted to go with. Flew described Islam as "best described in a Marxian way as the uniting and justifying ideology of Arab imperialism." In a December 2004 interview he said: "I'm thinking of a God very different from the God of the Christian and far andaway from the God of Islam, because both are depicted as omnipotent Oriental despots, cosmic Saddam Husseins" He rejected the ideas of an afterlife, of God as the source of good, which he understood that God also created "a lot of" evil, which is obvious, he was confused.

Flew later told Christianity Today that even though he admitted there was "A God, he wasn't on the road to becoming a Christian. He reaffirmed his deism: "Since the beginning of my philosophical life I have followed the policy of Plato's Socrates: We must follow the argument wherever it leads."

Little children often ask the question, "Is there a God" "What happens after we die?"...........and it is a question a person often debates in their head (or avoids) for a lifetime if they do not have concrete answers for those questions.

Do you know the truth?

I have a sore spot for Atheists because my father still hasn't made a decision for Christ, and also my brothers haven't affirmed the direction they believe. I even have dear family members who just don't want to listen. Sadly, I have spoken to dozens of Atheists and presented astounding evidence that is extra ordinary, and sadly, it is their pride that gets in the way. If NO god exists, there shouldn't be an ounce of evidence that suggests there is a God. I do know the power of prayer, but the best thing about YHWH, is that he lets everyone decide for themselves. Our God never backs anyone in the corner and forces them to believe in him. He wants someone whole heartily loving him, than a pretend love which is insincere. Everyone must make this decision for themselves. To not choose him, is to choose an eternity without him.

Here is your opportunity to weigh the evidence for yourself. Are you a person who hasn't had the opportunity to really look at the evidence? Take 10 minutes and review the evidence so you know where you sit. If the evidence is overwhelming, then what the bible has to say applies to you. If you are not convinced, then go ahead and dismiss it.

Below is the pamphlet I wrote up today, which is only some of the evidence for Christ. It is my favorite evidence that I have decided to hand out.

1. The Bible is Divinely Inspired, and this is proven through four different ways (1.Mathematics. 2. Prophecy 3. Bible Codes, and 4. Scientific Affirmations.)

1.Harvard graduate Ivan Panin generated over 50 years, 43,000 pages of the numerical mathematic structure within the scriptures. Eugene
Faulstich reveals astrophysics prove God. His study reveals a complexity of patterns in the numbers of weeks between key historical events.

2. There are 2,000 prophecies that discuss past events and future prophecies. Over 300 prophecies talk about Messianic Prophecies. The Messiah would have had 456 identifying characteristics; Jesus had them all. End time prophecies talk about Iran, Israel, Damascus Syria, Russia, And China. God gives warning of the coming New World Order and the coming antichrist’s reign of terror. No other “religion” has specific, repeated, and unfailing fulfillment of predictions many years in advance of contingent events over which the predictor had no control. Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius, Mary or Zoroaster. Muhammad or Maitreya didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great, nor did Joseph Smith raise the dead or heal the sick. There is far less reliable information written about these "Gods", yet they are followed by millions.

- *Jesus had to be born through a particular family line -(Chances without God) 10 To the 2nd Power (1 in 10,000) *Jesus would be Born in Bethlehem (1 Chance in 100,000) *Jesus would be a miracle worker (1 Chance in 100,000) *Jesus would present himself as a king on a donkey (1 Chance in 1,000,000) Jesus would be betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver (1 Chance in 1,000,000) Jesus would be crucified (1 Chance in 1,000,000) *Jesus would present himself as king 173,880 days from the decree of Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem (1 Chance in 1,000,000) = Total Probability without God 1 to 38th power (1 in 100 Billion, Billion, Billion Billion) In addition, Peter Stoner calculated that the chances of fulfilling just 48 prophecies are 1 chance in 10 to the 157th power. Yet Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300! - Affirmed by the American Scientific Affiliation Members

-Jesus DID NOT manipulate events to fulfill prophecy Such as The Place of the Messiah’s birth (Micah 5:2). , The Date of the Messiah’s birth (Daniel 9:25). Manner of birth of the Messiah (Isaiah 7:14), The Manner of death of the Messiah (Zechariah 12:10; Psalm 22:16 prophesied before the invention of crucifixion). , Piercing in side of that Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).The Details of the Burial of the Messiah(Isaiah 53:9).Executers dividing up Jesus’ clothes after he died on the cross

- There are 5 main feasts in the bible that for-shadow events or PROPHECIES that are to take place in the future. The celebration Passover is the exact representation of Jesus dying on the cross in detail even to the exact time of the slaughtering of the lamb, ( blood on the doorposts). Feast of Tabernacles was the perfect picture of Jesus's birth detailing the location and time. Many speculate that Feast of Trumpets will be where Jesus returns on the Mount of Olives. We are also told that we will be keeping the festivals when Jesus returns (Exe 45, Zech 14). Huge amounts of Christians (The Remnant Rev 12:17) are moving towards keeping the Sabbath, and festivals and move away from the pagan holidays such as XMAS, Halloween and Easter. We are told in the disciples kept Sabbath and the festivals in Acts 21&25 Matt 5,Rom 3, Rom 6:15 after Jesus resurrected. ***Keeping the Festivals/Sabbath and Jesus Testimony is the secret of where the blessings and protection come from.***

Here is the interesting part- Four Lunar Eclipses Happen between 2011-2020. Would it surprise you to know they all fall on Yahwehs festival dates? 1. Passover April 15, 2014- (A Total eclipse will be visible in Australia), 2. Feast of Tabernacles October 9, 2014, (A Total eclipse visible in Asia, Australia, Pacific, Americas) on October 8, 2014 3. Passover April 4, 2015, (A Total eclipse will be visible in Asia, Australia, Pacific, Americas) 4. Feast of Tabernacles on September 28, 2015. (A Total eclipse visible in East Pacific, Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia).
IN ADDITION- A total of 4 total blood-red moons back-to-back are rare, the only time it happens on four Biblical holidays is in 2014/2015. The only times last century these occurred together was in 1967/1968 when Jerusalem was recaptured. Passover April 25, 1967, Feast of Tabernacles in October 19, 1967, October 18, 1967, Passover in April 13, 1968, Feast of Tabernacles in October 7, 1968, October 8, 1968. Four total lunar eclipses also happened before these listed above just after Israel became a nation in 1949/1950 as well. Passover April 14, 1949, April 13, 1949, Feast of Tabernacles on October 8, 1949, October 7, 1949, Passover, April 2, 1950,Feast of Tabernacles, September 26, 1950. The next previous time this happened again was in 1493/1494 just after the Jews were kicked out of Spain on the 9th of Av, 1492.Another astonishing research on Gods' Judgment by William R. Koenig from “Eye to Eye” sites the consequences of dividing Israel and the correlation of natural disasters. All of the most costliest catastrophes in history occurred or began on the very same day or within 24-hours of U.S. presidents Bush, Clinton and Bush applying pressure on Israel to divide the land.

3. The Bible Codes are astronomically profound. Thousands of modern groups of our time, events and people have been found in the scriptures under the text in code. (Exodus2006.com) In most of the messianic prophecies reveal the name of Jesus. (If only Jewish people would come across this evidence) One example -In Isaiah 52-53."He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" The code found was "Nazarene", along with 74 of the names, places, and events of the time of Jesus of Nazareth in that tiny verse. Another example, 26 Trees were encoded in Genesis 1:29 to Genesis 2:9. The interesting thing with the codes is (1) multiple of “like-words” are often found in the (2) same location and (3)correspond to the story being told in the readable text of the bible. (How can you possibly write a book (of 40 authors) that reads on the surface fluently, and has Accurate Prophecy, Hundreds of Modern Bible Codes, AND on top of that have Multiple places of Mathematics present? )

4. The Bible touches on scientific statements only found accurate in our modern times with the advancement of technology. Hydrothermal Vents were written in the Bible 3,000 years before their discovery, Genesis 7:11, Job 38:16 (How many people knew what hydrothermal vents were 30 years ago?) 2 Pet 3:10 Describes Nuclear Weaponry which couldn't be known in 67AD. Fluid Dynamics described in Job 28:25 (The fact that air has weight was proven scientifically only about 300 years ago) Hydrologic Cycle, Ps 135:7, Jer 10:13, Job 36:27 (These verses site several phases of the hydrologiccycle: evaporation, translation aloft by atmospheric circulation, condensation with electrical discharges, and precipitation) Paleontology- (Dinosaurs)-Job 40 Anthropology- Cave Men, Job 30:5. The Existence of Water Paths (Ocean Currents) in the Seas (Psalm 8:1,3,6,8).The Concept of Entropy (Psalm 102:22-26). The Shape of the Earth, Isaiah 40:22 (written 680BC),Suspension of the Earth Job. 26:7, (Which once was against the common thought). The Stars are Innumerable ,"(Job. 26:7, NIV). (Only about 3,000 can be seen with the naked eye. We have seen estimates of (10 to the 21st power) stars. (The number of grains of sand on the earth’s seashores is estimated to be 10 to the 25th power) Each Star is Unique- 1 Cor 15:41. The Existence of Valleys in the Seas (Gen. 15:5, NIV). The Existence of Springs and Fountains in the Seas Gen. 8:2; Prov. 8:28. Meteorology(Circulation of the Atmosphere)-Ecc 1:6. Movement of The Universe-Jer 31:35,36. Condensation Facts: Job 26:8, Job 37:11, Earths Crust-Jer:31:37 The Nature of Health, Sanitation, and Sickness(Leviticus 12-14) (Even up to 1845, doctors would wash their hands in bowls of water. Doctors laughed at Dr Ignaz Semmelweis’s germ theory which gained widespread acceptance after his death. The bible proclaimed this microscopic fact in 1440BC.) There is a unique story behind each of these discoveries which was proven thousands of years ago in the bible. The bible, again, is supernaturally breathed on by God.

5. Advances in Astronomy such as the conditions needed for life known as the “Fine Tuning Parameters” of the Universe has turned Atheist spokes person Antony Flew to admit there is “A God”. A Star pointed the way to the Messiah at his birth, AND AN EARTHQUAKE and an ECLIPSE of darkness Happened while Jesus was dying on the cross. Sited by 13 NON Biblical Sources, that it did HAPPEN* Again, at the very moment of Jesus’s death, The curtain in the Holy Temple Separated. The Remarkable thing is the measurements of this Curtain were 60 feet in height, 30 feet in width and 4 inches thick. New Evidence Shows a 3-D Image of the person appearing on the Shroud. MILLIONS of Muslims are seeing dreams of JESUS in remote areas of the world where it is punishable by death to convert to another religion. YET, MILLIONS are having the same dream of who they identify as Jesus coming to them in their dream.

Are you ready to throw this aside and forget about this? Consider 2 Points:

P o i n t A : J e s u s C l a i m e d t o B e G O D H i m s e l f- Unlike any other Religion, Jesus Christ claimed to be God (John 10:30 ) “I and the Father are one.” Look throughout the major world religions and you'll find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses all identified themselves as teachers or prophets. You will notice that None of them ever claimed to be equal to God, but Jesus did. In the name of Jesus you can have eternal life if you call on him. Jesus claimed he can forgive sin himself. Today ONLY in name of “JESUS” can people be freed of Demonic activity in persons. This is a huge piece of evidence for Christ, it takes but minutes for a person to be freed in Jesus name. The Name of “Jesus” binds up demons, and casts them out. There is only one God (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8) Jesus is a part of a trinity. Just like the mathematical model of Liquid Water-Water vapor-Ice water, all revealed in different forms.

P o i n t B : God Does NOT want one Person to Perish, But EVERYONE to come to Repentance 2 Pet 3:9- Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels." There are over 162 references in the New Testament, alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ! Understand This: - You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ, when you refuse God's love gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ you choose an eternity without his presence. Do a search of Psalms to learn what a loving Father our God is. Everything good is from him.

All other major world religions, like Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, and Catholics teach that we must perfect ourselves in order to be saved. All Other religions believe that if people live good lives, and if the good works they do outweigh the bad, then they will have earned their way to heaven. However, this approach has logical errors. The Bible says that we are all sinners (Rom. 3:23, Romans 3:13). This means that WE HAVE all offended God. Because of this, we are separated from God (Isaiah 59:2), are dead in our sins (Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:3), cannot please God (Rom. 3:10-11), and will suffer damnation (2 Thess. 1:9). Therefore, God himself -Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the grave to save us (Isa. 53:6). Only the saving faith in Jesus Christ can be the basis for forgiveness of sin and life everlasting (Ac. 16:31) Here is the KEY, all you have to do is ask him into your life. God makes it very easy to choose him.
Salvation is found by trusting in what Jesus did on the cross (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Pet. 2:24, John 1:12, Acts 16:30,31,
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16)

Don’t put off eternity another day. Pray this prayer, and mean it with all your heart.- See You in Heaven
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask you into my life. I thank you for dying for me and saving me from Hell. I pray that you would open my eyes to see, and I pray you the Lord over my life. Please direct my paths. I receive you as my Savior. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen.

There is nobody who is out of the reach of God. Not even the son of a prominent Hamas leader. Many of you have heard of the new book "Son Of Hamas" by now. It is the tale of a young man who was born into the family of a top Hamas leader. His whole life growing up was about radical Islam.  But God got a hold of him. Eventually he became one of the most important spies Israel ever had. He also gave his life to Jesus Christ and became a Christian.  Posted below is a recent interview with him on Fox News....

There is a question from a former Christian who is now considering other religions because Christianity is too constricting. Being entangled in the world can make Christian righteousness a far reach for many people if they are looking "for a bit of good". The problem for most people who turn to the bible is they cannot turn away at this worlds pleasures. They find them self torn because they want some of the world, but what the assurance of going to heaven as well. You cannot have both the cup of devils and of God. (1 Corinthians 10:21) You cannot go to nightclubs and enjoy feasting your eyes on beautiful women and go to church on Sunday. Many people are now turning towards doctrines that itch their ears, and tell them what they want to hear more than ever. Christians are turning to the prosperity gospel, and the false rapture theology and believe in the doctrines that hell doesn't exist. The end times church is approving of homosexuality, and sex before marriage, abortion and that other religions can lead people to heaven. It is sad to see Christians who turn from the truth and follow witchcraft. We give you three reasons to run hard from witchcraft below.

I've been a Christian for most of life, but now I find Christianity to be too restricting. I've been looking more towards spirituality than religion. I've been attemping to study Kabbalah,but I want to be open to other things.

I want to know more about Wicca, before I become a committed follower. I was mostly curious about the deities that are in Wicca. I tend to lean towards religions that are monotheistic.I wanted to know about the character of the deities and what the provide.

I also wanted to know the "commandments" of Wiccanism. Such as, are there physical places that are assigned as rewards or punishments in Wicca, such as Heaven and Hell in the Christian.

Oh, and also what role does tarot,numerology,astrology,dream interpretation,etc. play in Wicca.

Our Answer :

Being a Christian is knowing the truth. Let me explain why. Paganism, witchcraft, and vampirism is growing rapidly in every culture. Why? You may ask?

Simple, it is real* People get sucked into what Ouija boards and fortune tellers can say regarding their future. Often times, this is how it gets started. The bible has been tossed aside and thrown away in our culture.

Why?

Many people believe that "religion" is boring. To the most part, many Christians don't work in the gifts of the spirit, and the church itself HAS NOT grabbed a hold of the power Jesus does give us. Jesus said we will do more miracles than himself, yet the church doesn't see miracles. Many Christians are seeing the dead being raised, and people cured of cancer and aids, through the name of Jesus, but sadly the mainline church is more considered with the things of the world, that they don't see miracles. They cannot heal through prayer and fasting, and miracles don't happen for them, because their lives are not cleaned out.

In witchcraft, many people see a great deal of curses or spells happen, and they see it working immediately when they try it, so they get sucked in and involved. Children who follow Harry Potter are given the basic instructions on witchcraft in their books, and find out it works.  Today there is an explosion of tv shows that feature the paranormal realm, so it is no wonder there are so many people who flock towards it.

I want to give you three things to consider why you should run as fast as you can from these things.

1 - Demons Don't Respect The Boundaries God Has Set.

A) If you research men who have had encounters with angels, you will see that #1 they do not give their names, as they do not want to be worshipped. (This is how Satan fell)  If a person steps over any sinful boundaries among Gods angels they leave. For example - A righteous man following after God who is put into a situation of temptation of lust would remove himself from it immediately. Angels of God do the same but to a higher degree. They WILL NOT defile themselves as they are holy. Demonic angels are the opposite. Demonic angels will push the boundaries every single time, looking out for the worst interest in the individual for the very intention of taking them down to the pit of hell.

For Example - Case in Point- The 18 year old Boy who dabbled with the Ouija Board. The demons through the Ouija Board told him what he wanted to hear. They encouraged him and gave him powers over an approximate time he used the board (a year or so)  Eventually it (the demons) asked for control over his voice.   He soon couldn't control himself in public. He wasn't able to talk without speaking out swear words. Could you imagine being paralyzed in your own body. Getting help would mean pain? This is what happens when you get deeply involved in the occult.

You may think to yourself, I am not that deep, it couldn't happen to me.... Sadly, Satan is very smart and convincing. A friend of mine who cannot leave the snare of witchcraft cannot help getting her tea leaves read because she so desperately wants direction in her life. Who do you think is suggesting to her to get her tea leaves read? Satan will pull you right off the cliff as soon as you grab on to the rope the first time. Don't kid yourself.

The Bible says, "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

2. Why IS It By Using The Name Yeshua Jesus That Demons Can Be Cast Out?

One of the worst lies out there are these three day long exorcisms. Sadly you see these things by the catholic church which is NOT Christianity. No, holding a cross is not going to scare away a demonic presence. God (YHWH) it very simple for the person WHO WANTS to be free to be SET free EASILY. First it takes the will of the person to WANT to be set free. Simply by saying.... "IN JESUS NAME, I COMMAND all demonic presence, or demons to leave my body,....I don't want you here anymore, leave NOW! I pray to be filled with the holy spirit, Jesus come into my life"

Here is a question to ponder .............Why is it that DEMONS have to come under the authority of Jesus? Why is it that the name of other "Gods" (Buddha ect) don't work when casting out demons? It kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? Many be because there IS ONLY ONE True God.

Two powerful books I would highly suggest, that I have read personally are

A. Bill Schneobelen's Book -Blood on the Doorposts. He achieved the highest degrees in Witchcraft, Masonry, Mormonism, and drugs. Bill Schnoebelen explains how deep he was in the occult, and how he found his way out in Christ Jesus. He discusses how Jesus was the only way out, as he tried many other things to get free of demons that held him in bondage daily. Here is a man who studied and was deeply involved in the occult and how he DIDN"T Find it fun after time. You can find some of his info on You tube for free as well. His book is excellent.

B. Stripes, Nails, Thorns and The Blood By Bree Keyton. This book is a mini encyclopedia that lists the ranks of demons, and how to identify them. She shows a person how to break strongholds, and how to recognize demonic activity. She gives a person a step-by-step deliverance outline of how to be free of demonic activity and how to maintain your healing & deliverance. Her book is an accredited college course. Here is a woman that has been translated speaking to crowds in south America while driving down the road in America. God uses her around the Globe to do great things. She is showing the power of Christ that we all can have.

3. The Bible Says If You Practice in Witchcraft You Will Cursed and More Importantly Burn in Hell.

Deuteronomy 18:11-12 says that anyone engaged in these practices is "detestable to God."

The first thing you may say to yourself is ....."Well that point doesn't apply to me, because I don't believe in hell" Well, here again, it is NOT WHAT YOU BELIEVE, but what you can PROVE RIGHT?

If I were to say to someone, I think the world is flat, and that someone still shakes their head when someone tries to show me the evidence that it is round, they would honestly be very closed minded and the fool not to listen to the evidence.

 This is what most people are like when it comes to the gospel. I can give someone (and will for you as well) a good 80 pages of point by point evidence that there is remarkable evidence for Jesus and Christianity. When it comes to other religions, most give the basic evidence such as "God can be seen in design" YET, for Christianity, there is very specific evidence that YWHW is the true and only God. So, are you going to be that same person who puts their fingers in their ears to the overwhelming evidence that the earth is round?

Hell exists, and thousands of people can testify to burning in hell as modern medicine has brought them back on the operating table.

You may say, as some use for the excuse - "it is just a cause of the brain miss-firing". No, in fact there is evidence that proves through many patient-cases when the brain is dead, and there is no heart breathing or breathing that people are claiming with accuracy events that took place after they have been clinically dead.

If you dabble with Witchcraft you will be cursed. Deuteronomy 28 lists the blessings or curses that "WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND OVERTAKE YOU". Do you want to curse your family line? Do you want to be the person always running into road blocks? Suffering from diseases and health problems? The curses are extensive, but so are the blessings. Where would you rather sit?

Finally, What is the evidence for Jesus?

1. The Bible WAS INSPIRED BY GOD. I would suggest that the King James Version is pretty much identical to the dead sea scrolls, while the modern translations have been corrupted. The bible unlike any other book has a remarkable amount evidence of History ,Science, Mathematics AND Medicine. DO you know of another book that has embedded Numeral Mathematics within the words, as well as THOUSANDS of Bible codes threaded within and throughout it? How can you possibly write a book (of 40 authors) that reads on the surface fluently, and has THOUSANDS of Modern Bible Codes, AND on top of that Multiple places of Mathematics present? I would ask you, does The Koran have this? Does the Satanic Bible have this? Who is the true God?

2. A 3 year old boy in Sapele, Nigeria has been raised from the dead after being prayed for by evangelist Daniel Kolenda of the Christ For All Nations evangelistic organization.  This happened near the end of a multi-day crusade that Christ For All Nations was holding in Sapele.  Crowds at the crusade have been as large as 200,000 people for a single service.  Miracles are regularly seen at the crusades that Christ For All Nations put on, but for a 3 year old boy to be raised from the dead is truly extraordinary. 

The following is a brief account of what happened from Kolenda himself....

Last night after the service, a woman stopped me as we were getting in the car to leave. In her arms she held her dead 3-year-old son. I held the body for just a moment, prayed and then left. Tonight we heard the testimony; as we drove away, the boy came to life and he is now perfectly well. She shared the testimony tonight and the crowd went wild! All of Sapele is rejoicing. Praise the Lord!

Most Christians are amazed when they find out that these types of things are still happening today, but they should not be.  In Mark 16:15-18, Jesus told His disciples this....

The Los Lunas Decalogue Stone

The Los Lunas Decalogue Stone is a huge flat stone on the side of Hidden Mountain, near Los Lunas, New Mexico, approximately 35 miles south of Albuquerque. This massive stone, which predates Christopher Columbus arriving in North America, has the Ten Commandments inscribed on it in ancient paleo-Hebrew script.

Chariot Wheels On The Bottom Of The Red Sea

The picture to the left is of a 4-spoked Egyptian chariot wheel that was found on the Red Sea seabed in 1998.

The discovery of Egyptian chariot wheels on the bottom of the Gulf of Aqaba is incredibly strong evidence that the Exodus that the Bible describes really happened.

The Cambodian Stegosaurus Engraving

Has amazing evidence that dinosaurs and humans coexisted been found?

The London Artifact

The hammer in the picture is called the London Artifact, and it is an iron hammer surrounded by a solid mass of "cretaceous" rock.

So what in the world is a hammer doing in "cretaceous" rock?

According to evolutionists, that would be simply impossible.

The handle of the hammer in the picture was partially PETRIFIED.

A test was done on the metal in the hammer. The hammer contains 96% iron, 2.6% chlorine, and 0.74% sulfur. There are no bubbles in the metal at all. Yes, the hammer is most definitely made of iron. The quality of the iron equals or exceeds the quality of any iron found in today's world.

How in the world is THAT possible?

The Burdick Track

The human footprint in the photo to the left was impressed into allegedly "110 million year old" limestone rock and was discovered in Glen Rose, Texas.

Analysis of the footprint suggests that it is a woman's bare footprint and would correspond to a size 22EEEE men's shoe today.

Scientific analysis after cross sectioning the stone with a diamond saw proves that the print was made by pressure, and therefore it is genuine and was not carved.

So the mystery remains.

Giant Skeletons

The Ebla Tablets

Have you ever heard of the Ebla tablets?

The Ebla Tablets were originally discovered in northern Syria by two professors from the University of Rome, Dr. Paolo Matthiae and Dr. Giovanni Petinato. Since 1974, 17,000 priceless tablets have been found from the time of the ancient Ebla Kingdom.

The Ebla tablets appear to have been written during the two last generations of the city, which would mean they come from some time around 2300 B.C.

But the remarkable thing about the Ebla tablets is not how old they are, but rather the similarities to the Scriptures that they contain.

Many Old Testament names that have not been found in other Near Eastern languages have been reported to occur in similar forms in Eblaite (one of the two languages found on the tablets).

Adam, Eve, Abarama/Abraham, Bilhah, Ishmael, Esau, Mika-el, Saul and David are just some of the Biblical names that have been found on the tablets. Not that the tablets are referring to those specific people - just that it shows that those names were commonly used in ancient times.

In addition, a substantial number of ancient Biblical cities are also mentioned in the tablets.

For example Ashtaroth, Sinai, Jerusalem, Hazor, Lachish, Megiddo, Gaza, Joppa, Ur, and Damascus are apparently mentioned in the tablets.

Giovanni Pettinato also found references to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

There was also one key discovery in the tablets that relates to Genesis 14. Skeptics have claimed that the victory of Abraham over Chedorlaomer and the Mesopotamian kings is made up and that the five "cities of the plain" (Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar) are legendary.

But as usual the skeptics are wrong.

The Ebla tablets refer to all five of the cities of the plain and on one tablet the cities are listed in the exact same sequence as we find in Genesis 14.

One of the most stunning discoveries of all, however, was when a "creation hymn" was found among the tablets.

Three versions of this Eblaite "creation hymn" were found. The creation hymn was translated by Pettinato as follows:

Lord of heaven and earth:
the earth was not, you created it,
the light of day was not, you created it,
the morning light you had not [yet] made exist.

Even in the midst of such a pagan culture, an ancient hymn about a "Lord of heaven and earth" who created the earth was able to survive.

Absolutely stunning.

Let us pray that even more incredible discoveries will come out of the Middle East, because with each new discovery the accuracy of the Scriptures is further validated.

As tens of millions of children get dressed up for Halloween to get candy, and as millions of adults get dressed up in costumes ready to party the night away, little do they know that for over a thousand years Halloween has been celebrated by pagans, witches and Satanists as one of their most important holidays.  While many people (including many Christians) defend this holiday as a night of childlike fun, the reality is that there is more animal sacrifice and even more human sacrifice on this night than on any other.

For occultists, pagans and Satanists, Halloween night is the night when the veil between this world and the world beyond is the thinnest.  To them it is the best night to contact the dead, and by participating in the rituals of this holiday many of these people believe that they can tap into great power. This Satanic night is dedicated to the Celtic Lord of the Dead, also symbolized by the Horned-god and the Stag-god. Most commonly this holiday is known as Halloween today, but to the pagans this is the holiday of Samhain.  It is a very wicked holiday that is deeply rooted in ancient paganism. October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead, who in reality is Satan. The Druids of ancient times celebrated Samhain as a 3-day fire festival, building huge bonfires which were meant to ward off evil spirits.  Human sacrifice was also a key component of many of these ancient celebrations.  Children and animals were often caged in large wicker baskets which were then lowered into the flames.  Posted below you can see a photograph of a modern celebration of Samhain.  Such pagan celebrations as this are becoming increasingly popular.

Bobbing for apples seems like a fun game, but little do people know that people being held for these sacrifices in ancient times were sometimes given the choice that if they could get an apple with their teeth out of a blazing boiling pot of water they could be set free instead of being offered in the fire. It gives an entirely different perspective on the tradition that is still held today at many parties. In fact, once you look into these horrid customs held over 2,000 years ago, they all have terrifying origins.

It was Pope Gregory III who moved festival of October 31st to November 1st and called it All Hallows or All Saints' Day, and then it was Pope Gregory IV who decreed that the day was to be kept by the church. There is nothing Christian about Halloween, as it is in fact an abomination to God and yet so many Christians participate in it.  The Bible says we cannot drink from the cup of the devil and that of God. We must choose one or the other.

Many people claim that Halloween is harmless fun, and that they do not worship the devil but take part only in the fun things of the holiday. Even if you are not "serious" about it, Satan is!

"Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins.  I know without you I am destined for an eternity in hell.  Please come into my life and forgive my sins.  I ask you to take control over my life, and give you complete control over my life to change me into the person I was meant to become.  Open my eyes up to the life I am meant to live.  Please show your love to me.  Thank you Jesus."

Have you ever watched a kid preacher preach against the theory of evolution?  If you have, you have probably never seen any kid as good as the one in the video below.  The video is in Spanish, but English translations are provided at the bottom of the screen.  This little kid makes more sense than dozens of other preachers that I have seen who have tried to talk about this topic.  Perhaps if the majority of the pastors and ministers out there continue to compromise and continue to water down the gospel God will raise up little kids like this to make a mockery of us all.  I don't think I have ever seen such a young kid speak so eloquently.  This little guy is really something special.  Let's hope that he continues on this path as he grows older.  He certainly makes a lot of great points concerning evolution and creation.....

Dr Hormoz Phd a scientist tells about his his journey from Islam to Jesus Christ.  Hormoz  describes himself as an "independent thinker," he read the Koran, got some answers, but still felt empty.  He came across a Bible and started to read that.   At first he thought Jesus would be like the figure in the Koran, but the more he read it, the more he realized that "Jesus didn’t look like the prophet in the Koran." Jesus seemed strong and confident, he said.  Hormoz was drawn to the teaching at the Sermon on the Mount, but found it  the Sermon was nice but not practical. Who can live like that? "God used that," he says. "This convicted me. If this is the standard, we’re all sinners." Hormoz was in a tortuous state for some time. He couldn’t accept or not accept Christ.   Hormoz started attending church and did accept Christ.  Hormoz grew in the Lord and started a Bible study and by 1988 he started a church.  Shockingly it doesn't end there! 

One day in 1990 he was in his office and was appreciating how good his life was.   He was working in the field of artificial intelligence and it was like a game to him, and he thanked God for it. But the Lord challenged him one day: "You want to be paid big money to play games the rest of your life?" "I decided I wanted to invest my life into something that was eternal," he says.  By 1991 over 100 Muslims came to Christ and Hormoz realized that the Lord was calling him into full-time ministry. In 1997 the Lord expanded the ministry when he began a 30-minute local cable show. By 2001, satellites opened up in Iran and they could broadcast in Farsi. "Through many challenges the Lord has moved mightily in this work."

Hormoz never envisioned this for his life, and by the Lords hand they are now on the air nine hours weekly in Iran – one hour of primetime at 10:00 p.m. The response has been tremendous, as the show is now one hour, and airs also in the United States, Europe, Canada, and the Middle East.  Hormoz can conservatively say there are 50,000 converts that he knows of.  He tells of the mighty move of God in Iran, and how so many are coming to Christ. When they witness, many are hungry and accept Christ on the spot.

Several viewers said that Jesus appeared to them in visions and they wanted to know what this meant. In a vision, one saw himself in a vast field in the wilderness. He was lost. Suddenly, a tall bright man like an angel appeared to him. When the man said he was lost, the angel pointed toward a direction. The man looked and saw a cross and Jesus was on it. At the foot of the cross, a river of light suddenly fell on him and he felt so much peace. He did not want to wake up because the peace left. "Now would you please tell me what is the interpretation of this dream?" he asked. Hormoz was happy to explain this to him. The big challenge now is to train leaders in the home churches.

One of the most dramatic developments in prophecy is seen in what God is doing through Muslims throughout the Middle East and even in the United States.  Many Muslims are seeing dreams and visions of Jesus.  They are coming into churches explaining that they have already converted and now need a Bible and guidance on how to follow Jesus. This is in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.  Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward,that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,your old men shall dream dreams,and your young men shall see visions" This is what happening in these last days. Muslims Encountering Jesus In Unusual Dreams Reported that among African Muslims, "42 percent of the new believers come to Christ through visions, dreams, angelic appearances and hearing God's voice."  Over one-fourth of those surveyed state quite emphatically that dreams and visions were key in drawing them to Christ and sustaining them through difficult times. Rick Love, International Director of Frontiers, has recognized the pattern as well. He writes that, "Just as God used a vision to convert Paul, in like manner He reveals Himself to Muslims through dreams and visions. Just as God prepared Cornelius to hear the Gospel through a vision, so God is preparing a multitude of Muslims to respond to His good news."

The great majority of dreams seem to fall into one of two broad categories. The first could be considered the preparatory dream.  For example like Christ appearing in a white robe, the vision confirms thoughts or conversations one has been having about Christ or the Christian faith.  The second could be called the empowering dream. Here the dream or vision commonly gives the believer strength in the face of persecution.  Short of persecution, it may embolden believers, strengthening the nature of their witness.

*In Afghanistan, for example, there were only 17 known evangelical Christians in the country before al-Qaeda attacked the United States. Today, there are well over 10,000 Afghan followers of Christ

*Uzbekistan- There were no known Muslim converts to Christ there in 1990.there are more than 30,000 converts to Christ there in 1990.

* In Iraq, there was only a handful of Muslim converts to Christianity back in 1979 when Saddam Hussein took full control of that country. Yet today, there are more than 70,000 Iraqi Muslim background believers in Jesus (MBBs), approximately 50,000 who came to Christ as refugees in Jordan after the first Gulf War in 1990-91, and another 20,000 who have come to Christ since the fall of Saddam Hussein.

*In Kazakhstan, there were only three known evangelical Christian believers before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Today there are more than 15,000 Kazakh Christians, and more than 100,000 Christians of all ethnicities.

* Egypt- More than 1 million Egyptians have trusted Christ over the past decade or so. The Egyptian Bible Society told me they used to sell about 3,000 copies of the Jesus film a year in the early 1990s. But in 2005 they sold 600,000 copies, plus 750,000 copies of the Bible on tape (in Arabic) and about a half million copies of the Arabic New Testament. "Egyptians are increasingly hungry for God's Word," an Egyptian Christian leader told me. Last Christmas, I had the privilege of visiting the largest Christian congregation in the Middle East, which meets in an enormous cave on the outskirts of Cairo. Some 10,000 believers worship there every weekend. A prayer conference the church held in May 2005 drew some 20,000 believers.

* Iran- In 1979 when the Ayatollah Khomeini led the Islamic Revolution, there were only about 500 known Muslim converts to Christianity. Today, interviews with two dozen Iranian pastors and church leaders reveals that there are well over 1 million Shia Muslim converts to Christianity.

* Sudan- More than 1 million Sudanese have made decisions to follow Jesus Christ just since 2001. Since the early 1990s, more than 5 million Sudanese have become followers of Jesus. Muslims were turning to Jesus in alarming numbers. "In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity," Al Qataani warned. "Every day, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity." Stunned, the interviewer interrupted the cleric. "Hold on! Let me clarify. Do we have six million converting from Islam to Christianity?" Al Qataani repeated his assertion. "Every year," the cleric confirmed, adding, "a tragedy has happened."

In Mina's book she tells of the Lord Jesus' miraculous radiant appearance to an elderly Muslim theologian in Iran., and about Jesus telling this man he is not Allah! Jesus then tells this man that He is "the Bread of Life", and words similar to His (Jesus') blood washes sins away. Realizing whom he is dealing with, the man asks Jesus to accept him.

A North African believer found the needed strength to face his
imprisonment from a dream he had while imprisoned for his faith. In it, he saw thousands of believers pouring through the streets of his city, openly proclaiming their faith in his restricted country. While in prison, he was tortured, suspended upside-down naked for hours, beaten with electrified rods and repeatedly threatened with execution. His vision of a day when people of his country would openly proclaim their faith in the streets gave him great strength to persevere.
One Egyptian Muslim was reading the Injil (Gospel), when he came to Luke 3, where the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the form of a dove. God said, "This is my son, in whom I am well pleased." As he read those words, a stormy wind broke into his room. A voice spoke to him saying, "I am Jesus Christ, whom you hate. I am the Lord whom you are looking for." He recalls that he "wept and wept, accepting Jesus from that time."

"Dunham organized the baptism service and worship celebration. The celebration marked an outgrowth of her ministry, one of its kind in the Middle East. A few years ago, Dunham established a church in the West Bank city of Jericho. "We have a church that reaches sometimes 600," Dunham said. "And what you'll see is just Muslims lifting their hands to the Lord. And they're not there because I went house to house and invited any of them. They're there because they've had a dream or a vision, or a visitation from the Spirit of the Lord. And so they've come to find out about Jesus." Latifa is one of the people from Jericho who have had a dream about Jesus. She explained, "The dream, when I sleeping -- I see a Man dressed in white and He comes to ask me, 'What is your name?' And I am afraid at first. But He told me, 'Don't be afraid. I am Jesus.'" Others have experienced miracles. "Tuesday, I think there was either two or three who had deaf ears -- one had never spoke before," Dunham said. "Tuesday was just full of miracles. A lot of the people here were at our service Tuesday - they were here, they were talking, they were moving. I've just seen the Lord move. Even we think sometimes that they have to be fasting and they have to be Christians to get healed, but I'm telling you today that God's healing the Muslims." Jan, a helper at the event, said, "People need to know that it's not a bad report all the time. God does good things in spite of what the news shows. People need to know that God is busy, He's at work. He's good." But establishing a church in Jericho was not easy for Dunham. "When I first went to Jericho about four years ago, they talked about me in every mosque," Dunham said. "They wanted to execute me. They were giving us death threats by way of letters -- me and my son -- because we were handing out Gospel tracts. Well, the governor of Jericho called me into his office. He said, "we had a meeting and we feel if you want to give out Bibles and you want to give out those booklets, we don't consider it evangelism any more. Go ahead, Karen." Dunham now tapes a television program out of Jericho. She says the best language to speak in these areas is the language of love. "The biggest lesson I've learned in the West Bank is that Jesus Christ loves everybody," Dunham said. "Jesus loves them all. There's nobody He don't love. And there's not a soul He can't save." "They've heard me when I'm preaching, speaking in their own language," she continued. "You can't sit on a pew or sit at home and say I don't have the language. The Lord said the language is love: 'Just give them the Word, they'll hear you, Karen.' The language is love. There's no reason why we can't reach out to those Arab nations, reach out and show them what the arms of Jesus Christ - how big and how great and how awesome God is."
