When it comes to doctrine, there are many, many things that churches can have legitimate differences of opinion about. So much of the Christian faith is based on the Bible. But is it reliable? Can we trust the Bible? Does a series of documents that were all written over two thousand years ago stand up under modern scientific scrutiny? These are incredibly important questions, because whether or not the Bible is true has extremely important implications for the eternal destiny of all mankind. 
As time goes by Christians have to just smile bigger smiles as more evidence comes out and CONFIRMS the Bible. No other Religion has the evidence that Christianity does. The Old Testament is being confirmed down to the very smallest detail. 
Is there anything that sets Christianity apart from other religions? Why do Christians claim that Christianity is true and other religions aren't? Just what are "messianic prophecies"? Why are they important? How can we know who God really is? 
Does the God of the Bible hold us accountable for our actions? Will all of us face the judgment of God someday? Would a loving God pass judgment on someone? These are some pretty heavy questions to think about. For one moment I would like you to imagine a scenario with me..... 
When were the books of the New Testament considered to be Scripture by the early church? You know, the truth is that most Christians have not even considered this question. Most Christians don't even think about it. Even though there has been a relentless assault on the Bible in movies, television, books and on the Internet, most Christians still stick their heads in the sand and won't even think about where the Bible originally came from. Rather than being able to defend the Bible, we have noticed that most believers in Christ have NO IDEA where the Bible came from. In particular, we have noticed that there is substantial confusion even among Christian leaders regarding the development of the New Testament. Even most pastors have fallen for the misconception that a bunch of people sat around a big table during some grand "council" (such as the Council of Nicaea) called by Rome and picked out which books would go into the New Testament. Hopefully after enough people read this article this question will be settled once and for all.
