So much of the Christian faith is based on the Bible. But is it reliable? Can we trust the Bible? Does a series of documents that were all written over two thousand years ago stand up under modern scientific scrutiny? These are incredibly important questions, because whether or not the Bible is true has extremely important implications for the eternal destiny of all mankind. 
Most people think of Christianity and Judaism as two completely different religions. But this was never intended to be the case. In fact, not only did all of the early apostles consider them to be one and the same thing, but Jesus Christ Himself stated that He was a fulfillment and a continuation of God's covenant. 
Newsweek did something very different lately. Instead of just having a reporter write about abortion, they had the reporter actually go and watch abortions being performed. Sarah Kliff's story about the conflicting emotions that she felt while witnessing an abortion and while talking with the patients at an abortion clinic is very revealing. 
They say that if you want to succeed at something learn from someone who has already mastered it. Pastor Steven L Anderson of The Faithful Word Baptist Church has almost memorized the entire New Testament. In fact, he claims that any average person can memorize entire chapters and even books of the bible, even a child. 
Is hell real? Well, according to a recent survey by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, Americans are much more likely to believe that there is a heaven than that there is a hell. 
Very few Christians understand that the Biblical festivals in the Torah contain extraordinary evidence for the Christian faith. You see, for centuries before Jesus ever came to this earth, God had His people celebrate festivals which were themselves prophecies of important events which were to take place hundreds of years later. None of us knows what was truly in his heart or where he truly stood with Jesus Christ. But the truth is that all of the fame, all of the money and all of the possessions that Michael Jackson had accumulated are not doing him one ounce of good now. So why do we chase so feverishly after such things ourselves?
