Halloween is a deadly holiday, literally. We need to pray for those who are innocently victimized on this occult festival. This list of 14 things comes from James Holyghostfire Wrenn.
1) Pray and ask God to prevent kidnappings of people for the purpose of human sacrifice on Halloween night. Pray that the individuals from generational witchcraft families who have been ritually abused and programmed for the purpose of human sacrifice would escape, become born again and delivered from spiritual bondage.
(2) Pray that those in the occult would not be successful in recruiting people into witchcraft, Freemasonry, and other branches of the occult through Halloween parties and recruitment goings-on during this time. (Witches target teens in particular.)
(3) Pray that Christians would heed the Holy Spirit’s conviction and be willing to admit to themselves that Halloween is not only not of God, it is opposed to God (antichrist). Ask God to help them understand that they are courting the God-sent delusion if they refuse to turn from this willful fellowship with devils. Pray they would repent of participating in Halloween and all occult-marked activities, occult-themed computer games, entertainment, and ministries.
(4) Have everyone in the group who is praying with you renounce out loud the times they participated in Halloween or any other occult related things, such as using tarot cards, ouija boards, reading occult-themed books, watching occult related movies, etc. All Christians need to do this as soon as possible after they are saved. Every bit of place (permission to afflict their lives) they gave Satan before and after they were saved needs to be taken away. They need to renounce all works of darkness (all the place they gave to the devil through touching the unclean thing) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(5) Pray that God would protect children from being spiritually harmed by eating candy that has been ritually cursed. All candy that is marketed and packaged for the purpose of using in the Halloween ritual is cursed (has devils attached to it). Some companies “bless” their own candy with their own particular brand of destruction in honor of Satan’s Halloween. Witches especially like to place their own specific curses on the candy before they hand it out to Trick-or-Treaters or give it to Christian children during their “Harvest Party.”
(6) Pray that God would arrange circumstances so that people who are being prepared for ritual human sacrifice would escape. Pray that God’s people will be willing to take them into their homes to protect them. Ask God to cause Satan’s followers to fall asleep or otherwise fail to maintain vigilance so their captives can escape. Pray that God would work and perform miracles so they can get away. He is willing to do this and has done this mightily in the past in response to the prayers of his saints. God is against this evil and he does act if His people will believe his word and pray.
(7) Pray that God would prevent Satan from getting his human sacrifices in other ways such as purposely caused deaths in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, suicides etc.
(8) Satan’s followers conjure demons to work destruction on Halloween, especially. In fact, Halloween is the #1 prime time for Witches and satanists to conjure demons and send them on assignments. Pray in Jesus’ name for the cancellation of all manner of spells, curses and various incantations that will be done on Halloween night. Pray that curses to cause traffic accidents, fires, and all manner of planned disasters to cause the destruction of human life would be broken and not allowed to be fulfilled on this dark night.
(9) Pray that the people who escape would surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and continue to grow in their knowledge and faithfulness to him.
(10) Pray that Satan’s followers (including Freemasons) defect and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and help the victims who are being held to escape so they won’t be sacrificed. (Many generational witches and satanists (first born female) who were conceived and reared for this purpose are being held for human sacrifice. Pray that they, too, will be delivered to safety. God has done this before and will do it again.
(11) Pray that God would cover the escapees with his protection so they would not be found and killed. Pray that they would soon be born again and protected from being killed in retaliation if they come forward and speak out about these atrocities.
(12) Pray that God would intervene and create circumstances that will prevent the ritual human sacrifices from taking place.
(13) Pray that God would work in any way he deems necessary in order to stop the sacrifices, allow the victims to escape to permanent safety, and cause those who serve Satan to be in awe of power and holiness of the real God, the Most High of the Holy Bible and turn to him in sincere faith.
(14) Pray that those who regard themselves as faithful Christians –and yet “learn the way of the heathen” by celebrating Halloween or engaging in so-called “Halloween alternatives”— would see Halloween the way God sees it and repent. Ask him to do what is necessary to cause them to understand that by observing Halloween they are actively giving Satan place in their live

Listen to this message from brother John Ramirez who was a devil worshiper for 25 years. What happens to your family when you participate in this holiday
Caryl] Matrisciana: Glenn Hobbs was initiated into a satanic coven as a child by his
grandfather and continued participating for many years. I recently asked Glenn about his involvement and the importance of halloween to the occultist.
[Glenn] Hobbs: Well, my involvement in satanic worship was, I was involved in it as a child, of course I was a generational satanist, what they call a generational satanist and what that means is that my family was involved in it and their family before them. Now my earliest rememberings of halloween and some of the things that were involved was, it was a very dark time for me as a child. It was something I didn’t enjoy.
Matrisciana: Glenn, could you tell us about your involvement in any rituals at halloween as a child?
Hobbs: There was another little girl that was involved in the occult with me and her name was Becky. Now Becky was a different type of child, she was blessed to be a sacrifice. I was being blessed to be a high priest, where she was being blessed and born into the coven there to be a sacrifice. …
Well, the ritual that I remember the most clearly began about the end of September.
Matrisciana: All of today’s seemingly halloween customs and symbols have their origins in the ancient keltic [Celtic] day of the dead. For example, the practice of trick or treat is from keltic tradition where people gave food [even humans] in return for blessings from spirits of the dead. Failure to supply treats would result in demonic retaliation. Jack-o-lanterns grew out of the keltic tradition of carving the faces of demonic spirits on turnips and later on pumpkins. The world book encyclopedia says, the apparently harmless lighted pumpkin face of the jack-o-lantern is actually an ancient symbol of a dammed soul, candle lit pumpkins or skulls at a home signified that the occupant was sympathetic to Satan and would therefore receive mercy by spirits and trick-or-treaters on
their halloween rounds.
Perhaps the most sickening of all druidic new year practices were the human sacrifices which occurred at midnight. Adults and children alike would be thrown into huge fires, while the celebrants danced around them in demonic fits of abandon. By morning’s light only ashes and bones would remain, these were called ‘bone fires’ which is where we get the tradition of ‘bonfires’ today. The druids believed that black cats were reincarnations of the evil dead and were possessed with supernatural and knowledge, bobbing for apples was
part of the druidic new year sexual divination ceremony of fertility. The broom stick and witches hats were originally considered phallic symbols.
Smith: Deuteronomy, chapter 18, spells out God’s position concerning man’s participation in divination, sorcery or communicating with the dead. Verse 12 states that whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord. By participating in the customs of halloween, whether in fun or ignorance, we are continuing in practices which have been consecrated to Satan. People who love the Lord should stand for separation from these things and not compromise. Christians can gather together at halloween and use the night to educate themselves to the dangers of paganism and to take the opportunity to pray and wage spiritual warfare against the powers of darkness in their community. It can be combined with a time of worship, praise and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for victory over Satan, death and hell.
Do not imitate the detestable ways of the pagans around you. America, it is time to obey God’s Word and to stop being conformed to this world and to be transformed, rather, by the renewing of your mind through the Word of God and the Spirit of God. Halloween is N-O-T of God; it is of the world, of the evil one.
This year, 64 percent of all Americans will celebrate Halloween, but I will not be one of them. For me, it is a wretched, horrible holiday that celebrates the darkest side of humanity, and it is deeply rooted in ancient pagan traditions that would get people thrown in prison if they attempted to duplicate them today. With each passing year, the sexually suggestive costumes being marketed to our young girls become even skankier, the horror movies become darker and even more demonic, and the number of Americans that participate in occult ceremonies just continues to grow. In fact, it has been estimated that the number of self-identified witches in the United States is doubling every 30 months. Those that are deeply into the occult take this holiday very seriously, and the dark forces that they are dealing with are very real. So no, I don’t want anything to do with this festival of death. In no particular order, the following are 18 reasons why I don’t celebrate Halloween…
#1 I don’t want anyone in my family to observe a holiday that celebrates death, witchcraft and the occult. This year, millions of Americans will participate in activities that could potentially open up a door for demonic activity.
#2 The average American spends $74.34 on the holiday. I would rather save the money.
#3 Millions of women use Halloween as an excuse to dress like street walkers, and millions of men use Halloween as an excuse to act like sexual predators.
#4 Even little girls as young as three years old are being dressed up in sexually provocative costumes. What kind of message does this send to them?
#5 Dressing up little children as ghosts, demons and vampires is not healthy for them. In recent years, there has been a trend to make costumes for children as hellish as possible.
#7 In ancient Britain, the festival known as Samhain was celebrated on October 31st. It was supposedly a day when dead souls would revisit their old homes. Personally, I don’t want anything to do with contacting the souls of the dead.
#8 According to the History Channel, Samhain was also the day when the Druids “gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities”.
#10 According to Wiccans, Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is considered to be the thinnest. They believe that on this day their god “dies” and is reborn every year on the Winter Solstice. This year the winter solstice falls on December 22nd.
#11 In ancient times, the resurrection of the sun god required human and animal sacrifice. The following is what occult expert Bill Schnoebelen says that the Druids would do at this time of the year…
Druids worshiped the sun god, called by names like Bel (Ba’al?) or Chrom. On October 31, they believed that he died and went into the kingdom of the dead, Anwynn. The purpose of Samhain was to insure his return. Even witches admit this involved human sacrifice.
Both animal and human blood were believed to be needed to resurrect Bel on Samhain. Human blood was believed to open the gates of Anwynn and released the spirits for a night. Thus, October 31 came to be associated with ghosts. This is not just history. Samhain is still celebrated by Pagans and is the most solemn ceremony on their “religious calendar”.
#12 To this day, animal torture and sacrifice is still practiced on Halloween by occultists. Many animal shelters will not adopt out black cats during the month of October for this very reason.
As a result of their efforts to wipe out “pagan” holidays, such as Samhain, the Christians succeeded in effecting major transformations in it. In 601 A.D. Pope Gregory the First issued a now famous edict to his missionaries concerning the native beliefs and customs of the peoples he hoped to convert. Rather than try to obliterate native peoples’ customs and beliefs, the pope instructed his missionaries to use them: if a group of people worshipped a tree, rather than cut it down, he advised them to consecrate it to Christ and allow its continued worship.
The idea of trick-or-treating is further related to the ghosts of the dead in pagan, and even Catholic, history. For example, among the ancient Druids, “The ghosts that were thought to throng about the houses of the living were greeted with a banquet-laden table. At the end of the feast, masked and costumed villagers representing the souls of the dead paraded to the outskirts of town leading the ghosts away.”
As already noted, Halloween was thought to be a night when mischievous and evil spirits roamed freely. As in modern poltergeist lore, mischievous spirits could play tricks on the living—so it was advantageous to “hide” from them by wearing costumes. Masks and costumes were worn to either scare away the ghosts or to keep from being recognized by them
#15 The tradition of carving out a “Jack-O-Lantern” also comes from paganism. The following comes from wicca.com…
Turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos. The Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was not advised.
And as Bill Schnoebelen has noted, pumpkins eventually replaced turnips, but the meaning remained the same…
Here it’s a pumpkin, but in Europe it was often a turnip, or a skull with a candle in it. This serves two symbols, 1) the lord of the Dead, a “god” just like a Buddha – in short, an idol. 2) The fearsome face represented the god, Samhain, who would drive off less powerful demons that night. The lights in the Jack-o-Lantern symbolize the “faery fires” or “Will’o the Wisps” which were believed to be the lost souls flitting through the night. They also hearken back to the huge Samhain “balefires” which were lit to help conjure back the god from the darkness.
#16 On all Satanic holy days, there are children that get ritually abused. This has been documented repeatedly, and yet most people (including most Christians) don’t want to hear about it.
#17 For Satanists, Halloween is one of the most important celebrations of the year. On page 96 of the Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey wrote the following…
“After one’s own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht (May 1st) and Halloween.”
#18 The Scriptures are very clear about this sort of thing. Deuteronomy 18:9-13 says the following: “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults with the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord”.

Who Do You Belong To?
A most important element of Halloween, for young and old alike, is the mask. Masks are a familiar and vivid element in any folk and traditional cultures. SEE the full graphic at graphs.net
11. The druids also taught that on 31 October, on the eve of the feast, Samhain assembled the spirits of all who had died during the previous year to return to their former home to visit the living.
12. Human and Animal Sacrifices On Halloween, for thousands of years, druid priests have conducted diabolical worship ceremonies in which cats, horses,
13. sheep, oxen, human beings and other offerings were rounded up, stuffed into wicca cages and burned to death.
14. These human and animal sacrifices were apparently required to appease Samhain and keep the spirits from harming them.
15. Trick or Treat To obtain these sacrifices, druid priests would go from house to house asking for fatted calves, black sheep and human beings.
16. Those who gave were promised prosperity, and those who refused to give were threatened and cursed. This is the origin of “trick or treat.”
17. Jack-O-Lantern The Jack-O-Lantern has its origin in the candle-lit pumpkin or skull, which served as a signal to mark those farms and homes that supported the druids’ religion, and thus were seeking the “treat” when the terror of Halloween began.
18. The World Book Encyclopaedia says: “The apparently harmless lighted pumpkin face of the Jack-O-Lantern is an ancient symbol of a damned soul.”
19. Dance of Death While people and animals were screaming in agony, being burnt to death, the druids and their followers would dress in costumes made of animal skins and heads.
20. They would dance, chant and jump through the flames in the hope of warding off evil spirits.
21. House of Horrors One of the popular heroes of Halloween, Count Dracula, was also a real person. Dracula lived from 1431 to 1476.
22. During his six-year reign, Count Dracula massacred over 100,000 men, women and children in the most hideous ways.
23. He devised a plan to rid his country of the burden of beggars, the handicapped, the sick and the aged by inviting them to a feast at one of his palaces. He fed them well and got them drunk.
24. Then he asked them: “Do you want to be without cares, lacking nothing in the world?” When his guests yelled: “Yes!” Dracula ordered the palace boarded up and set on fire. No one escaped this original “house of horror.”
25. The Word of God “When you come into the land, which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.
26. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire,
27. or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer,
29. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.
30. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God, for these nations which you will dispossess, listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.“ Deuteronomy 18:9–14
