“There used to be a little newspaper put out, called “The Corner Gathering” that was made up of the testimonies of others who knew God sent them here. One of those testimonies is Bill Gothard’s where he tells about Corrie’s vision she had when a passenger in his airplane. She flew with him to a number of his conventions in those days. In this particular flight she noticed a ring of fire down below and exclaimed that this must be a divinely protected area. Bill Gothard asked the pilot where that area was, and he said… the north west corner of Arkansas.

This is exactly what the Lord told me. I didn’t see anything, I only heard these words. “North west Arkansas is a divinely protected area.”

At least three people have written to me to say they have heard Bill Gothard tell of this incident at one of his conventions.

I know the author of The Corner Gathering and have met a number of the people whom she quoted, and I have had many other confirmations…..

That is why I am here, and that is why so many people come to let me show them this divinely protected island of survival. As a caution or disclaimer it needs to be pointed out that there are many Bible passages that speak of divine covering. But we have to understand them in context. That does not mean no harm will come to any area within the Ozarks in Arkansas or Missouri. Relatively speaking there will be less harm in a major part of the Ozarks.

Even though all the testimony here is about (basically) a four county area in the Arkansas Ozarks (Benton, Carroll, Madison, Washington county area), I am sure that some parts of the Ozarks in Missouri are equally protected. Any area within the Ozarks that is mountainous and remote is probably a good choice. Preppers always warn us to stay away from flat areas (tornado and flood prone) and towns of any size.

To me the most important point we can make her is to know where God is sending you and then be obedient and move there. But confirm that first by making visits to that area to see if He confirms that in your spirit. If you feel attracted to more that one area, visit them all and see which one God confirms for you. As I say –probably too often– the safest place on earth is in the center of God’s will for you. See my testimony on how the Lord confirmed this area to me.

The Ozarks are called a mountain range, but keep in mind that the average elevation is from 1,000 to 2,000 feet above sea level. The biggest mountain in the Ozarks wouldn’t make an noticeable bump in the Rocky Mountains or the Alps. But the Ozarks have huge advantages over those grand mountain ranges. Being in the south there is very little snow and it usually melts the next day. There are no noticeable earth quakes, no tornadoes or hurricanes, no forest fires, no flooding except in low areas, long growing season, and lots of rain. I grew up in Colorado and visited the Rockies a lot, but I would pick the Ozarks over the Rockies any day as the ideal place to live. The above map shows the purported location of three of the five divinely protected areas in the USA, North West Arkansas being one of them. The next map shows the other two areas.

Here is the story behind this map: A friend of mine gave me a copy of this map around 1990. A friend of his says five prophetic men (who did not know each other and had never met) where directed by the Holy Spirit to meet with each other at a hotel in Chicago. After they arrived and discerned who the others were, they rented a room and began to discuss the things the Holy Spirit had directed them to share with each other.

One of the things they purportedly discussed was divinely protected areas where Christians would go to not just survive when national disaster struck, but to save a lot of lives and to minister Christ to the refugees that would gather there at that time.

They turned to the page on an Atlas map that shows the continental United States and each in turn drew a circle around an area the Holy Spirit had shown them to be a protected area.

The map is like prophecy and needs to be judged as such. In fact, it was generated by purportedly prophetic brothers at the meeting in Chicago. Even if I had the source, it would make no difference. It’s either supported by the Holy Spirit, or it isn’t.

Keep in mind that this does not mean there are not more divinely protected areas in the USA, or that these circled areas are entirely accurate. I can only attest to the one area I personally was shown, and that is the North West corner of Arkansas, an area much smaller that the area shown on the above map. The Holy Spirit called this divinely protected area “A Green Island of Survival.”

An email from a friend Michael who wrote us and talked about REFUGE Places:

Here are snippets from his email to us:

My name is Michael ****. My wife ran across an article by you a couple of days ago and I dug a little and discovered your blogs and noted your statement of faith. Your thoughts were interesting, but it was not until I read that you believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that you had my attention.

I grew up in God in a house church environment beginning in 1972, and from the very beginning in those days God was speaking to that particular “stream” of Christians about The Remnant. So, when you spoke of that, it was a topic with which I have been extremely familiar for over 40 years. As a part of my journey, I had a friendship with a man named Art Katz, a Messianic Jew, (who has since gone on to be with the Lord). He spoke of The Remnant, and these “Cities of Refuge” for many years before he died; he actually lived in a Christian Community in Minnesota. His thought was that these places of refuge were primarily for the salvation of the Jews in the end times. Here is a thread from Sermon Index in which you can hear him talking of these things.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me in October of 2008 (before the election) and told me to prepare. He gave me the word from Hebrews 11:7: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household…” We took it seriously, not realizing the 8 years of chaos that were about to be reigned down upon this country. We now live out of the city on *** acres of land. Since coming here last December, we have had numerous prophetic words describing this place as ” an oasis”, a “refuge”, and a “city of refuge.”

Interestingly, when I asked the Lord if Hilary would be elected in 2008, The Holy Spirit said to me, “Too evil too soon.” Is she to be unleashed on us now? I pray not.

We take these things seriously. I am often afraid we are not moving fast enough.

One point of hope that brightens the political landscape came to me when the Lord directed us to move to Georgia (from Florida). He gave me Psalm 105: 16 – “He called for a famine in the land; he destroyed all the provision of bread. He sent a man before them – Joseph…” He told me he had sent me before others in the Body of Christ caught the vision, to begin the preparation.

With that Joseph reference, he indicated that like Joseph and Pharoah, there were 7 good years before the lean years. I pray we have not used up those 7 years; I don’t know when the clock was to start ticking, but I have thought it coincided with this upcoming election. My prayer is for God to have mercy on his people to prepare us for what is to come. We are preaching the Kingdom of God as our main message, and for the first time in decades, the church is actually listening – somewhat like you said in a video that some years ago no one wanted to hear of the remnant, but now God’s people are listening.

But I will tell you, Michael, the masses who “go to church” will never hear. It is “fear not little flock” and “the remnant” who have been appointed for this time.

We are encouraged by your efforts. If the Lord wills, and a way is opened, I would love for our families to meet. There are a lot of people out here who are “hidden away” in house churches and such that you may not know about. I believe there are a lot more people hearing what you are saying than you realize. I would like to introduce you to some of the “hidden ones.”
