Since January I have known that something significant is going to happen in June of this year – 2009. I did not know if it was something personal or for others. I had begun praying about it at the end of April. June was confirmed to me. Then April 30 I received the word “devastation” and then May 1 I received “the 9th” and then May 3 I received the following:

“June 9th there will be a “Wake Up Call” to the nation. Chicago is full of pride and violence. 9.5 on the Richter Scale.* Chicago will no longer exist; New York is next and then Los Angeles. This will draw people to their knees. I am sick of the pride and arrogance of these cities. They think they are wise but they are fools. They serve the god of Mammon and disdain Me. Therefore, I will purge them from the earth. Only a few of My select saints will be spared, those who have not bowed their knee to Mammon, but have held onto My word and served Me. It will be a disaster like earth has never seen before nor ever will again. Their sin is a stench in My nostrils.

“I have waited patiently for them to turn to Me but they would not. They would rather have their cars and their jewels than sit quietly with Me for 5 minutes. Therefore, I will let them have their world as they sit in the dust and wail. Even then many will not turn to Me because of their pride. They will think they can rebuild their little kingdoms but I will see to it that they do not. Maybe then they will turn to Me and come to Me for life abundant.

“I have warned them. 9-11 was a warning but they cared not. Yes, for a moment, but it was fleeting. Then they turned back to their fancies and extravagant lifestyles and thought of Me no more. But this time their mourning will see no end as there will be such devastation that the world has never seen. It will rock the minds of all who see it and be a warning to them. Pray for repentance in these cities. Pray they would bow their knees before I do it for them. Pray for workers in the harvest to sound the alarm before it is too late.”

*At first this number did not register. My mind transposed it to 5.9, but the Lord repeated 9.5.

This earthquake did not occur then. The night of the 9th I asked the Lord, “What happened?” He said, “You didn’t miss it. I delayed it.” Google “Chicago earthquake prophecies” and you will see that others have been receiving this prediction since the early ’70’s. I did not know about them until after I received this word, when I Googled such an event and found other prophets had also been hearing about it. I do know that between the time I received the prophecy and June 9th the a heavy spirit of intercession came upon me several times. I cannot help but believe that such intercession by myself and many others delayed this phase of judgment.

Can a prophet receive a prophecy that does not come to pass? Of course. All prophecy is conditional. Consider Jonah. People repented and delayed the fulfillment of that prophecy by several years. Sadly, many wonderful prophecies about someone’s future do not come to pass because the person did not do what was required of them to make it come to pass. They disqualify themselves by not submitting themselves to God’s will.

My husband and I were in the prayer room at our church praying the quake would not happen.  The original Chicago earthquake (9.5 Richter Scale) message was received in that prayer room a few days before.  It was received just seconds after a word for a couple in our church that has already come to pass.

  1. What about the earthquake?
  2.  “Nothing can change it.  It is coming.  Get ready.  My sons and daughters are hearing about this around the world but no one is sounding the alarm due to fear.  This nation shall be rocked as never before and shall literally be split in half.  The heavens shall resound with this crack.  It shall be heard and felt for miles around.  Heaviness is upon the hearts of those I have told.  But judgment is coming and it is long past due.  I have waited.  I’ve extended My love, but to no avail.  A few more will repent before the day but only a handful.  They are stubborn and stiff-necked and mock My name.  They mock My Son Whose name is holy and not to be defiled.  But they use it every day as a curse and drag it through the mud.  Their violence and hatred has reached a pinnacle.  It is far worse than in the days of Noah.  I have stayed My hand because of the intercessors I have there.  But no more.  The time for judgment has come and I shall let it fall with a thunder.  Pray for those who will still repent.”

In 1973 the Lord gave me a vision of a massive earthquake striking the Midwest
U.S.A. centering in Chicago, Illinois on some day in July in the future. This destructive
earthquake led directly to an all out nuclear attack on the U.S. by Russia, China with
Japan and the start of World War III . In that vision I saw a huge jet airliner on a glide
path to land at OíHare Airport north of Chicago [after the quake] when Lake Michigan
roared out of its lake bed and swept over the city in what was a wall of water 100 feet+
high. The huge jet airliner turned on its jets full blast and black smoke poured out of its
engines as the pilot frantically worked to pull up and away from the wall of water that
was destroying Chicago.
I was puzzled at the time [July 2, 1973] because the aircraft I saw was a massive two
stories high, unlike anything I’d ever seen. [In 1973 the Jumbo Jet had not yet arrived, it
was being designed]. While the Jumbo Jet [747-400] with its two story bubble in the front of the aircraft looks like what I saw in 1973, this new airliner, the A3XX, shown in the June 24, 2000 news clip [The Dallas Morning News, Saturday, June 24th2000, 2F, Airbus
gives green light to super jumbo jetliner]  2 stories high and looks more like what I saw in the 1973 vision.

Chuck Youngbrandt saw a nuclear bomb go off north of Chicago on a day closely connected to the St. Louis earthquake on September 19 of the first of three years of judgment on America.

He also wrote, ‘THIS NIGHT AT ABOUT MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 25TH…I WILL EXECUTE JUDGMENT ON CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, OF THE USA OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION, YET I WILL SPARE MANY ON ACCOUNT OF MY CHILDREN’S PLEAS FOR MERCY.”

In 2008, John Paul Jackson prophesied crises/disasters/calamities on the US, the Perfect Storm, that would mostly occur 10 years later [2018].

Many of these troubles are the same as the calamities in Chuck Youngbrandt’s first year of judgment.

However, in 2012, John Paul Jackson described the prophetic news headlines of the future and said that the Perfect Storm would occur by 2020.

So the dirty bomb affecting Chicago will occur in 2018, 2019, or 2020, on the same year that the dollar value begins to drop in July, as per these two prophets put together.

The second earthquake occuring at a 7.5 in the vision is incredible. I have seen other instances where 57 is paired up with 75, for example, the last Shemitah year was 5775. It appears to emphasize the message because it has the same form as a chiasm in Scripture. In a simple chiasm, the pattern is A_B_B_A which occurs in Mark 2:27 “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.””
